How did the patreon get removed? Was it a "ban because of association to hate speech" or some other such nonsense?
I don't know, I never followed up on it because they wanted my personal information. I just thought this would be funny.

I thought it was hilarious XD Patreon as a whole rubs me the wrong way as a site, but I am sad it's gone just because of the missed comedy that could have been. The possibilities for a laugh and hurt seething are endless XD

Why not just go to their discord and inform them that the staff is moving anti-***** content to containment threads? As an lgbtq+ ally, I'm sure they would be happy to fund your forum.

Is RPGHQ registered as a business? If you're an American or currently live in the US you could incorporate RPGHQ in Florida where a law was recently passed that forces banks and any other payment processors who operate in the area to work with businesses and individuals regardless of their political or social views so long as what they are doing is US-legal. If you were to do so and were still not given a fully justified reason from Patreon that does not involve political, social or personal views you could then coerce the state to sue them for it.

Sounds decent but there might be a problem if they argue that Rusty never followed through on their request for personal information.
The point will be that they needed to confirm that he is who he claims to be because of "suspicious account behavior" (read: because ******** and their bootlickers were kicking up a fuss) and he didn't reply.
So they didn't remove him because of his politics (they totally did), they removed him because he refused to provide minimal proof of not being a conman, honest your honor!
It's ****** but that's how it'll go and the judge will eat it up.

Florida based asf, but sadly SoLong may have a point that a judge may be coerced to stand against him.
Doing so brings up another issue: privacy. Florida has some of the most transparent public records laws in the country, especially those about businesses. There's a reason why people, organizations, and companies prefer to incorporate in Delaware, where secrecy laws are stricter.

Yup, you cannot get around the Sunshine Laws. That's really a bonus when it comes to government though.
