Thanks. Also, can someone explain to me how to tag others in your comments. I'm sure it's probably obvious... But here we are.Makes sense. What I'll do is, roll back to previous version of Aesthetics (only astarion was changed). And upload an option Astarion pants mod.

totally forgot to mention, i absolutely hated how they cut that small piece of dialogue from EA when companions (and Tav) eat a moldy pie in Ethel's house and cuss themselves for doing so, especially when done twice. players did expect devs to add Astarion's reaction to garlic after finding out about those pies, but instead Larian completely removed that feature from the final release.DagothGeas5 wrote: β January 23rd, 2024, 16:46I thought you would get quests and dialogues about important/interesting aspects of their characters, like asking Astarion about living in the sun, deepening on the point of him finally be able to touch running water without burning, or what effect does garlic have on him, if any, or anything such thing.
Big update today.

Nice! Getting another one gets into bg3 due to Orin the evil's abominable game mod.1998 wrote: β January 25th, 2024, 16:24I might actually replay it once you are done fixing it. Amazing work!
I'm not planning any more npc changes for No Alphabets. The game is mostly lgbtq free Everything now is bug fixes and new patch compatibilities.

GGS creates nothing of substance. Says nothing of substance. Shits all over the forum. Then calls me a shittess. how ironic. You (GGS) are the definition of a failure. Have you chopped your balls off at your inadequacy yet?

Wow, no more drag! Thank you so much for this change!
Got a question though, why the name change? Lucretia is a feminine name, so it would fit her current normal woman persona. "Lucretious" implies a male. Was this intentional on your part?
Lucretious is the vanilla name actually. They call her Mama Lucretious. It's a bit of a flamboyant enough name so i haven't bothered dubbing over her name.Envuen wrote: β January 25th, 2024, 18:35Wow, no more drag! Thank you so much for this change!![]()

Those who are here for the mod. Ignore GGS. It's clearly a triggered ***** begging for attention.

@orinEsque Wow, you did a really great job with Lucretious. Feels and sounds much more natural, especially considering it's still the same actor and everything, very impressive.

A bit late, but here's some handy proof that Astarion's modded trousers will even work on outfit mods that are using the ugly cowboy ones. It's nice that I can keep his puffy doublet that actually hides his bite marks.

Only drawback to this specific outfit is that you have to be very particular about dyes, as most look strange on the doublet. It's even trickier with these new trousers due to using cloth material rather than leather, but worth it.

I absolutely do not understand what was behind the decision of leaving bite marks on Astarion, yet none on any of the spawns. It makes zero sense.
He looks great though, love the doublet from beta! (I think it's that one?)
Also, if you hate those stupid bite marks as much as I do, there's this simple edit from nexus:

I think they should have consistently put bite marks on all vampires. I expect those don't heal because they were still human when they got those.Silver wrote: β January 25th, 2024, 19:58I absolutely do not understand what was behind the decision of leaving bite marks on Astarion, yet none on any of the spawns. While that makes sense in idea and I agree with it, it doesn't work with the rest of their stupid spawns.orinEsque wrote: β January 25th, 2024, 20:01I think they should have consistently put bite marks on all vampires. I expect those don't heal because they were still human when they got those.
How come none have the marks, no one, not even any of the characters that Astarion can bite on his own? Yet he has them?
Slightly silly to me. One of the reasons I installed hair mod for Astarion early on - so he has long length hair to hide the neck.

Honestly, I assume they were too lazy to give the other spawn custom complexions, and it's likely as deep as that. However, they overcompensated by giving them eyes as bright and obvious as stop lights and piranha teeth.
I assumed the point of the collar of his EA doublet was to hide the bite marks and keep fewer marks from connecting the dots, but then again since vampires heal their injuries in a superhuman way (IIRC), maybe you're right and he shouldn't have the marks at all. Although, Orin's point is a good one, too. We can always reason away the back scars as being made with a special dagger that made them permanent, I suppose.
Orin, if you're talking about those metallic buckle things, don't worry! Those are metal bits that are attached to the ends of those weird strap things on the doublet. I noticed no clipping whatsoever, have no fear.

Awesome. So we just need a leather variant. I can probably alter Pants_H and try. I think its leather (?)Envergence wrote: β January 25th, 2024, 20:08Honestly, I assume they were too lazy to give the other spawn custom complexions, and it's likely as deep as that. Yeah. I saw the reasoning for "bright red eyes" being - they are being compelled and controlled by Cazador, hence the super bright "charmed" eyes.Envergence wrote: β January 25th, 2024, 20:08giving them eyes as bright and obvious as stop lights and piranha teeth.
But, if being super picky, charm effects aren't visual.
You might have a super mega high insight character that can understand that person is charmed, but to just see those flares? Nuh.
Piranha teeth are straight up ugly to me and, again, take away the point of vampires attempting to blend in with humans.
No glow and a more "sneaky" version of vamp teeth.

I'm using those exact mods! Can't wait to see them in action when I get to act 3, several years from now.
Larian go way too over the top with their design decisions, and VFX and SFX are some of the biggest offenders. They either think characters in-world would think nothing of the overly fantastical effects, or they expect the player to do a lot of heavy lifting to suspend disbelief. I don't know who's in charge of those aspects of the game, but how they don't find most of what they make to be overstimulating is beyond me. Countless people complain about the endlessly looping NPC conversations, for instance, to the point where there is no conceivable way they're oblivious to how unpleasant people find it, and they still keep doing the same thing. Sorry for the off-topic rant, lol.

thank dog there's a mod on nexus that removes those glowing eyes, they were certainly... an eyesoreEnvergence wrote: β January 25th, 2024, 20:08Honestly, I assume they were too lazy to give the other spawn custom complexions, and it's likely as deep as that. i literally didn't want to wear my favorite Shadespell Circlet because of that black smoke vfx. Blood of Lathander and Moonlight glaive hurt my eyes with their ******* sun plasma glow, and i have to say, i hate i can't paint weapons like them clothes. i hate how most of enchanted weapons covered in gold or whatever that **** is, too.Envergence wrote: β January 25th, 2024, 20:25Larian go way too over the top with their design decisions, and VFX and SFX are some of the biggest offenders.
