*@Oyster Sauce suggestion of Mod highlights is cool (make sure that any user can buy it for any mod!) that promotes a mod ("game\title") either in a dismissable forum announcement, or maybe even as a ModHQ logo comment, akin to the RPGHQ ones. (Allow all users to Opt Out of seeing these, if done as an "announcement". OR just show them only on the ModHQ pages).

Fundamentally, there's not meant to be a difference. The entire point of the change was just to make things clearer and not have to rely on manual processing. I guess before you did get all platinum reactions when you bought platinum, but… there was only one.

Oh, I didn't have reactions allowed for long enough to notice which ones were gained when I paypigged. It was just Salute?

For each 0.70 plat spent, you have a 91.2% chance to unlock a random tier 2 forum post reaction , a 7% chance to unlock a random tier 3 forum post reaction , and a 0.8% chance to unlock a prestigious tier 4 forum post reaction . You are guaranteed to get a tier 4 forum post reaction within 80 pulls with a 50% chance of it being this month's exclusive limited time tier 4 reaction and a 50% chance to be a tier 4 reaction from the permanent pool of select tier 4s. If you pulled a tier 4 and it was not this month's featured reaction, the next tier 4 you pull is guaranteed to be the month's featured reaction. This count carries over to the next month.

Paying for reactions is counter to the metagame of reactions.

Firstly you'd want as many reactions available to all users to encourage interactivity on this Web 2.0 platform. There could be some paid reactions or sets of reactions rather but I suspect less than 1% of all users ever pay anything.

The Codex is smarter about this. There's plenty of basic reactions for all members, then they get more after a year of being member encouraging longer participation. Then if that isn't enough they can buy more.

They're not selling each emote for 15 bucks.

If I understand right, the way it's currently set up encourages one time donation rather than monthly or yearly subscriptions. Some purchases should be permanent, like the piggies, but you'll want some things that renew. Maybe the reactions (don't hurt me @Kalarion!) or the colored name?
