I watched the video in full and this is looking like the social sim I wanted Hogwarts Legacy to be before it had to be cut down to Minimum Viable Ubislop Product to ship. Only this is better because it's an M-rated game where you play as an adult. Pretty confident this is going to be huge if it ships in the polished way they're presenting it.
Fable 3 failed because of the social sim ****. When people see a fantasy action-rpg, they want to kill **** and loot stuff and upgrade skills and do all kinds of adventuring, not hold their hands with some gay ***** who has a floating heart above his head.
I refused to touch Fable 3 because of crap like
Instead of a conventional pause menu, Fable III brings the player to the Sanctuary, a hub location that the Royal Hero physically walks through. While in the Sanctuary, the player is safe from combat and can access their weapons, costumes, achievements, save files, and system settings.
Going by the success of Hearthfire (which forever altered Bethesda's priorities, probably negatively) and Baldur's Gate 3, there's a demand for this kind of thing when it's executed well.

Fable 3 went all-in on removing the usual rpg stuff from the game (like stats, inventory screens, item management, etc) because they wanted to capture the female audience with their cutesy social sim where you hold hands with your partner.

Perhaps it was true with Hogwarts Legacy due to its school setting, but I just can't see it with other games. Hearthfire was a success because skyrim is an open world game where you gather resources and entertain yourself, BG3 was a success in spite rather than because of the social gayshit.

We'll see, but at the moment it's #4 in Steam wishlists already, beaten only by three multiplayer games. Poor Polish Vampire Hunter D is merely #11 (not counting hardware) even though it's going to be out sooner.
Imagine a town presenting a vegan "feast".
100% someone would counter-organize a barbecue and 99% of the people would go there instead.
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.
Reject your retarded-wing political programming and learn to think.
If you can.

You can avoid the vegan feast by giving him permission to slaughter the talking pig. Choices and consequences.
There's only one pig in the world?
