Refunded, game would freeze on startup multiple times. I'll treat this like I did terminator resistance, forget about it for a few years and buy it when its cheap and ready.

Also morrowind just got another big mod update
i believe the initial startup non-responsiveness is shader compilation. if you mistook it for an actual game freeze however then it might've been something else.

still nothing beats first soldier of fortune in gore.
I thought it was the sequel that dialled it up?
it didnt felt right
technically it was better, sort of, cause therer was more body parts but it was less appealing there were no guts/less detail specific animations and it felt way more artificial/sterile
i prefer first one, feels way more raw

as far as i know any game that runs on windows 10 will run on windows 7, usually you just need a moddedl dll file or something like that. the piracy cracking groups always provide one, check out cs.rin.ru forums.

Played this one for a bit. Really nice, you can throw CRT monitors out of windows and collect evidence for building up cases against a bunch of corpses. Setting and music are also splendid. 11/10, totally worth bricking my windows installation for this! \o/

Yeah, the game is pretty fun. Pretty satisfying gunplay, atmosphere and environments are faithful to the source, the sections I thought I would hate (any time you're not shooting) are actually kind of enjoyable like issuing out tickets for daring to park in front of a fire hydrant. It's not like it had much competition but it is easily the best Robocop game.

And yes you can recreate the groin shot from Robocop 1.

Just got to the point where Miles Morales shows up to replace Lewis and he won't shut the **** up. What a great decision by the developers!

Just beat it. Was pretty fun, but incredibly easy even on the highest difficulty. You can upgrade your pistol to be fully automatic, have pinpoint accuracy with no recoil, and never need to reload with infinite ammo. Feels like playing with cheat codes.

Actually a pretty good game. Especially like the movement and how they nailed the feel of playing RoboCop.

No it just runs like **** (Game already runs at 720p->1440p upscaled on next gen consoles), plus aiming with a controller at an unstable 20-30 fps plus 200+ ms of latency is a true test of patience.

It looked great with HDR though, I didn't have access to my PC for weeks so I couldn't play on it.

I played it for a bit, harder for me to get into shooters these days though.

That said, looked and ran great on my PC (though I tuned it down a tad) and It setup pretty well for my triple screen setup. FoV tuned well and the game looked amazing at 7830x1440 resolution.

There is no other way to truly experience a first person game than through a triple screen setup. It is a complete experience changer.

Do you happen to own a highend VR headset? I've been wondering how those work for non-VR games.

Unrelated but there's an Unreal Engine mod that can turn any UE flatscreen (Like Robocop) game into a VR game, If anyone here owns a VR headset try it out.

Unity performance really isn't any better though, arguably worse unless you're making a lightweight 2D game.

Hey now, Unity can run just as bad as an Unreal Engine 5 game. Just look at Cities Skylines 2!

Nah, I tried them in the 90's, followed some of them over the years, but I just don't care for the feeling of wearing something over my head/face. I know they are a lot better than they used to be, but from what I have looked at, they still seem to be something I wouldn't care for. The triple screen setup seems to be the sweet spot for me.
