That Next Fest landing page actually shows "Reccommended For You" games.
I'm found out.
I added these to my wishlist, thanks op
extremely wide genre reinterpretation allows non-rpgs to masquerade as rpg
what does that mean for games like cottonfield, baldur's gape 3, and other faggy but real rpgs that i don't feel like coming up with names forrusty_shackleford wrote: β October 9th, 2023, 18:33extremely wide genre reinterpretation allows non-rpgs to masquerade as rpg
Just making an assumption here but my first thought is because ***** like roleplaying. Could be wrong but if a poll was taken I'm sure RPGs would be up there as a most popular genre among *****. ***** ruin everything.
I think the ability to customize characters was a subtle way of introducing gnostic, ******-ideas in the minds of the public. I mean hey if you can customize your digital avatar any way you want, surely you can do the same in real-life too!. Also JRPGs exploded and introduced anime and it's common tropes to the wider genre also.rusty_shackleford wrote: β October 9th, 2023, 18:33extremely wide genre reinterpretation allows non-rpgs to masquerade as rpg
I think it's the lack of gameplay focus in most RPGs. There's less room for faggotry in games that have to focus on being games instead of relationship simulators.H-H-Holmes wrote: β October 9th, 2023, 20:06Just making an assumption here but my first thought is because ***** like roleplaying. I think the ability to enter a name was a subtle introduction of gnosticism. Using a pseudonym allowed players to be a woman or a man no matter what their sprite was.KnightoftheWind wrote: β October 9th, 2023, 20:15I think the ability to customize characters was a subtle way of introducing gnostic, ******-ideas in the minds of the public. Most people just want to play themselves, though. If the problem is with a customizable avatar, then you have to go back and blame tabletop RPGs first. JRPGs are the opposite of this since you generally can't customize your character.KnightoftheWind wrote: β October 9th, 2023, 20:15I think the ability to customize characters was a subtle way of introducing gnostic, ******-ideas in the minds of the public. Isn't that a remake of a remake of an anime adaption?somerandomdude wrote: β October 9th, 2023, 21:53The Star Ocean 2 remake is decent, they got a free demo for it up. It's one of the better JRPGs I've played. It doesn't look like they pozzed it up.
I'm not one of those autists who's going to get into the intricacies of whether it's closer to the original or the PSP port. I can only comment on what I played in the demo.Shillitron wrote: β October 9th, 2023, 23:11Isn't that a remake of a remake of an anime adaption?somerandomdude wrote: β October 9th, 2023, 21:53The Star Ocean 2 remake is decent, they got a free demo for it up. I used to enjoy Star Ocean as a kid.. until they totally jumped the shark. lol

it shows the same games for me, so it's not just the algorithm.Acrux wrote: β October 9th, 2023, 18:08I'm found out.![]()
Seriously, though, what a ****** algorithm if this is what they recommend to me.

Japanese RPGs tend to be resistant to some parts of the western woke blights: Ugly strong wamen are rare (and if they exist they are villains, fittingly enough), the ESG gender crap is left at the door and their society as a whole rejects the whole "You must accept this much brown people as invaders immigrants this year!" propaganda the US and Europe is swamped with.somerandomdude wrote: β October 9th, 2023, 21:53The Star Ocean 2 remake is decent, they got a free demo for it up.
