This is crazy. Even normies were saying the dialogue and story were the worst parts of the game — the thing everyone criticized the most. It's like watching someone completely ****** up and prove they have no idea what they're doing, and then saying, 'Dude, you've got the job.' If I didn't know the real ideological reason for hiring such a talentless redditor, I would think it was sabotage. But in the kingdom of crooked mirrors, apparently, they strive not for complexity and improvement, but for regression.

IF it ever comes out ESVI will likely be set in Hammerfell, and thus it will be nothing but WeWuz-ery from top to bottom. There will be more Redguards in Hamerfell than Nords in Skyrim but the game will be praised for its ‘diversity’.
Either that or they’ll do what they did to Cyrodiil and Skyrim and just make all the previous lore and weirdness completely bland and sterilized.

Skyrim Belongs to the Nords.

Too many nails in the coffin already. I can't wait to see how bad the game turns out when it finally releases in 2035.

You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.

I'm expecting a 2027 reveal with a late 2028 release, call me especially optimistic. I'm just excited to see how much of a complete and utter disaster this is going to turn out to be.

It's me, I'm the guy playing every UE5 game on max settings and getting 10000 FPS on a mid-range PC built years ago while the dregs of society complain about poor optimization online.

Has anyone made mods for games that add Trump tweets as loading screen tips?

This probably needs to be mirrored in the Vault (it doesn't load for me, but should for westerners).

After spending years scraping the bottom of the barrel on Steam, I have to say that there are very, very few — near zero — games that sell significantly less copies than they should be selling. If anything, there are way too many games that sell far too many copies relative to their quality.
Actually a bit surprising at how well the market does here. Any indie dev who thinks their problem is marketing is probably wrong

So, I've been dragged into Battlefield 6 public beta by a bunch of associates, here are some thoughts.

Naturally, for the US faction there's only one white male in the roster. Mandatory black, mandatory women (2 I think? Hard to tell wtf is the second one). The mysterious adversary faction seems to have a similar setup. Naturally no way to change all of your classes to be white male, so if you want to play an engineer (naturally an oriental lady) then you better like it.
The TTK was too **** high for everyone, making the game feel like an off-brand COD.
Everyone, it seems, can revive while medics can revive instantly I suppose? They should have really stuck to medics only being able to revive.
Squad spawns are still annoying, letting 1 guy disengage/hide out leads to infinite stream of squadmates spawning without any need for things like a recon spawn beacon.
Unlocked weapons seems to be pushed as the primary game mode, which is once again wiping away a lot of BF DNA and resulting in everyone just spamming the same couple guns with even less variety. Locked weapons should have been the default.
Rush seemed to be pretty broken and unbalanced.
Optimization, at least on my hardware seemed to be okish, and I'm fairly sure I turned of the slopSS/slopSR.
Requires secure boot to be on.
Weapon attachments seem to be unlockable via just using the associated gun (not sure though). So good, no more BF4 ******** with playing with some random *** pistol to unlock your AR grip.

Overall impression was rather mixed, on one hand it seems to be drifting back closer to BF4, on the other hand even BF4 still featured an all-white male roster (which is what it should always be) instead of multi-culti diverse one. A bunch of other cons I've highlighted also lead to me not really wanting to engage with the game after the beta. So really very non-news news here - both BF and COD remain pozzed and ****, nothing to see here.

I've been thinking - is there a way to configure excluded tag list in order to filter out as much slop as possible from your steam search? I would imagine as someone who's spent years scraping the bottom you should have some ideas on what would work for that purpose.

I wish I could blacklist the account retweeting but unfortunately I already have their game. Just won't bother with 'em in the future or anyone else who echoes this sentiment. Commie devs sure feel entitled to other peoples' money.

You're telling me that commies don't understand economics and why it can actually be more money overall to charge less for a good that has a perfectly elastic supply curve?

Wow.

Why I'm not surprised?

PS: Games should be cheap because they're not a physical product. And because expensiveness give rise to a childish woke mentality, where a hobby becomes insular, inaccessible, toxic, and degrades into a closed-off environment of woke freaks.

What a genius strategy to charge more for indie games when AAA games or even mid size games are flopping and struggling to make a profit. Indie devs are somehow even more ******** than publishers because at least they have some established franchises that people want and be willing to pay for, indie devs think that mere fact of making a game is worth paying because “muh passion”

They deserve nothing but contempt.

They are a necessity for these old MMOs that have been converted into pseudo action games. They were not built from the ground up as action games so this is what has to be done. With FF14 especially, the game has severe netcode issues which cripples the combat design. For real action games, yes there should be no unimmersive hud indicators like that.

They're way too streamlined, like everything else wrong with MMO's these days. Such cookie-cutter damage indicators are patronizing and remove the player from the experience. If the devs can't be bothered to animate readable enemy attacks and the players can't be bothered to look at them, then go fiddle with a spreadsheet or something, idk. Robot players robotically playing robot games...

I remember Gruul in Blackrock Foundry flailed all over the place, and he hit hard. I had to look up at this huge monster to know where to stand. It was a bit nerve wracking. That fight would have been much less memorable if I had been staring at disco pie slices on the floor the whole time. Where's the threat? Where's the intimidation? Removing all the ambiguity also removes the excitement. You just move your guy outside the shape on the floor and you're 100% safe. It's so monotonous.
(I think it was Gruul, but I may be senile. I remember a big Ettin with a club who would turn around and swipe the raid.)

Could be improved somewhat just by making it less generic. And yet another thing that could be tied to a skill if devs weren't allergic to making RPGs where you earn your cool/useful abilities
