There was also a separate druid companion that was cut, she was actually in the game at one point during EA.
But Alfira was almost certainly meant to join the party as you don't have a bard, yet have two druids.
No rusty, sorry. The original bard character was Helia, a halfling werewolf girlboss. Alfira was never meant to join the party, she was always just a bit character/Durge murder victim.
There's still files in the game where Alfira gets rep adjustments in dialogue
That must've been a prototype or a placeholder then, because she has less material to work with than Helia does. I don't doubt that there was once a bard companion since they're such a pivotal role, but Alfira was clearly shitcanned very early since Helia had at least voicelines recorded.

On the other hand this means that the game has two annoying women less than planned, rather than just one. So it's something I can take comfort in.

Possible that the devs at one point did this in order to trick the player into thinking she was a real companion before suddenly killing her off, like those Telltale "****** will remember this." moments.

Right, I'm suggesting that it may be remnants of an extension of the Durge allowing her to join before shockingly killing her offscreen scene at one point in development. Not suggesting that she was ever meant to be a full, proper companion.

I think all npc gain / lose rep depending on your actions. Specially when you hit them you see the rep getting negative pop up.

In addition to the Upper City Mod and the β€œRecreate BG1 and BG2 in BG3” Mod, Orin, Silver, and Loregamer should create a β€œrestore the Early Access storyline” Mod and get rid of the Emperor entirely. It being Balduran is so stupid.
Wait, did they seriously retcon Balduran into the Emperor? I thought the Emperor was an original character to this game. Why did they have to warp old lore to fit this game?
Because they are homosexuals. They also retconned Balduran into a homosexual zoophile who wants to have sex with Lizardmen.

I really like this MOD and want to translate it into Chinese. However, I always encounter errors when trying to extract it with LSlib. Could you tell me the reason? Thank you.

Good day everyone! Thanks to EVERYONE who made the Realms Restored mod and continues to improve it. BG3 is a great game. But when I came to Act III, I was extremely unpleasantly surprised by the invasion of "strange" humanoids and their "stupid" relationships. How cleverly the agenda was added - unobtrusively and unnoticeably. But when you start analyzing and counting how much of it there is, you get confused.

Sorry, I'm using a translator because I'm not an English speaker.

I have a fashion question. The original game features the gnome Tut Phostlethwaite. In the "Full Table of vanilla Name Changes w/o Swaps" and in the English version of the mod, there are two names with the same cell number - Tut Dobblidel and Tut Poppyfin. I also met some two original names that also had two changed names. There must be some mistake, or I don't understand something. But I need to look for them. I'll find it later.

Here's the best part, if you're romancing Shadowheart, and you tell Halsin no, both him and Shadowheart have dialogue that HEAVILY implies that they both go behind your back and have sex.

when youre dating Shadowheart and go to the Drow Twins, Halsin asks if he can join the orgy and if you say "No" - itll say in top right that BOTH him AND Shadowheart Disapprove of you saying no.

if you plan to date her, use "Really Shadowheart" mod. :wizard:

I only romance Minthara when playing because she's literally the only female companion who's not some insufferable deviant. Ask her if you can **** the drow ***** at the brothel, and she threatens to kill you xD.

yup, Minthara is my favorite for those reasons. isnt huge and muscular like Karlach. doesnt look absolutely hideous like LaeZel and doesnt try super hard to act like a man like LaeZel. and is Hardcore monogamy unlike Shadowheart. like you said she threatens to kill you if you suggest ******* someone else BUT she also sets the same rule for herself, says she is only yours. (plus its a bonus that she fucks you as a reward for killing all those annoying people in the Grove).

So, it comes as absolutely no surprise that Larian gave this companion the least amount of love. she doesnt even get different lines based on your approval rating. like how the other companions address you differently when you click on them. she just always says "You wish to consult me?" no matter what, even if youre dating.

i really wonder how the whole "Pregnant Minthara" thing was gonna play out if it didnt get cut? seems very... male-centered... seeing as... a woman cant ******* make another woman pregnant - but yet we can make our character any gender we wish... i guess Thats why it got cut? they didnt want ****** feeling left out of the whole procreation angle.. wokeness killing another potentially interesting aspect of the game.

(or perhaps they originally planned for her to only be available as romance for Dark Urge whom they maybe planned to always be a man? who knows) i feel like there were two different people writting the story. one completely normal person who was a genius - and then some woke ******* who ruined his masterpiece. like the whole Daisy storyline was genius too. and they scrapped it to catfish the player to make you feel bad.

It's because Minthara is a professional.

I honestly did not mind Lae'zel at first. She was girlbossy, yes, but it was in a way that made sense. it wasn't until she said something like "Oh I'm so glad i can enjoy sex without having to worry about having a child". That **** gave me a massive ick. Minthara is also girlbossy, but again, it makes sense because Drow society dictates that she must be. Especially when you're a female of House Baenre - one of the most powerful Drow houses. Shadowheart on the other hand, is a complete *****.

The pregnancy stuff is still there if you play a Dark Urge and romance her, well kind of. Not as fleshed out as it was originally supposed to be. But If you accept Bhaal after killing Orin, Sceleritas returns to your camp, and after exhausting some dialogue with him, he mentions that Minthara is pregnant with a new Bhaalspawn. Oh and he also allows you to spare her, when the time comes to slaughter the world.

Sometimes I watch BG3 videos on youtube and notice some intriguing characters and realize how good I have it with this mod. I know I wouldn't enjoy the game as much as I do if not for it. So thank you.
Is the "degirlboss" mod still in the work?

When does she say that? It's even dumber because if you steal the githyanki egg in the crèche she reveals what appears to be motherly instinct and she wants to raise it.
Or it's just the pregnancy and birthing part she doesn't want which is understandable honestly.

Not certain, been awhile since i took her with me, but i think it's around the time you get to the creche. Lots of new dialogue opens up with her there.
