Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was possibly the Codex's most anticipated title of 2025, but then The Leak happened. What followed was a 200 page feeding frenzy that required the forum to be reorganized in order to properly contain it.![]()

They're barely RPGs, and therefore as action games they get incredibly boring the moment it stops introducing new things and you aren't just following the main story. It would be more obvious that it's not an RPG if the games didn't have a medieval setting.Shillitron wrote: ↑ March 30th, 2025, 23:48The longer I play this the more it wears me down and the more bored I get.
@rusty_shackleford post back 30-40 pages about how KCD design gets boring quickly keeps echoing in my brain. I'm not sure I can finish it.
Even the equipment system is very barebones despite not seeming it at first — just like the rest of the game. How often do you actually upgrade your gear? I had the same gear I wore for about 25-30 hours after a few hours into KCD. Heck, how often do you even consider what kind of gear to wear? The entire system is linear without tradeoff, it is in effect no different from a simple upgrade system in an action game, perhaps with a cost attached to the upgrades.
KCD games rely upon a very good illusion of being an RPG, but once you realize it's all just an illusion it falls apart. And from what I've read and seen about KCD2, there's even less player choice compared to an already fairly linear game.

The newest Outcast game was more of an RPG than KCD.

Not that I played the game, so maybe that's more annoying in the end.

But that is the world that feminist want. It is quite funny. I have come across many women who say; "We want a man who is in touch with his feminine side but is also stoic with his emotions". That is something that is impossible. Women are naturally more emotional than men. For a man to be "in touch with his feminine side" and "stoic" is impossible. You can't be in touch with your feminine side and be stoic with your emotions at the same time. Again, this is just women not understanding what they want.The_Mask wrote: ↑ April 9th, 2025, 01:42In a generation (33 years) women will be lucky if a guy is bisexual.Nessa wrote: ↑ April 8th, 2025, 17:34They just needed The Gay™ and suddenly it's influential. Technically this *is* possible, but the problem is that women will describe something, well... much like a woman would. No offense.RangerBoo wrote: ↑ April 9th, 2025, 02:38But that is the world that feminist want. It is quite funny. The oxymoronic description above describe 1 type of man: a God-fearing man. As Christ was self-sacrificial, so do women want a man just as Christ-like as possible. It's women's way of telling men to go back to the church.
The main issue here is that women are not very strong communicators. Again: no offense. Women until 100 and some years ago mainly had to do with kids. Not with the world.
But you know what? It's okay. Men are starting to get it. The Orthodox and Catholic Churches have seen an increased amount of fresh blood coming in. Who knows? Maybe *some* women will get what they want.
The rest meanwhile will get the *******.

KCD2 has certainly been a trendsetter in the weeks it's been out, sent ripples through the entire industry.

I was already under the impression every male under 30 was bisexual in the Anglosphere at least.The_Mask wrote: ↑ April 9th, 2025, 01:42In a generation (33 years) women will be lucky if a guy is bisexual.
Then again, the same people saying that tell us it's ok for women to travel alone to "lovely" and "safe" 3rd world countries.
What? Every young woman these days goes to latinx america to suck **** in Colombia for a gram of coke and they come back alive and well. Sounds like you're missing out.Nessa wrote: ↑ April 9th, 2025, 11:57Then again, the same people saying that tell us it's ok for women to travel alone to "lovely" and "safe" 3rd world countries. Nonsense. I'm using Roman letters and writing in this ridiculous mon-keigh speak just for the purposes of communication.Humbaba wrote: ↑ April 9th, 2025, 18:24Honey you are speaking Anglisky RIGHT NOW. You better start believing in the anglosphere, you're in it.

Voovra's Czech Media apology tour continues
This is a bit complicated, he appeared on a Podcast called "Insider", and there's a public portion of the Interview that's ~20 minutes on YouTube in Czech, where he talks about some of this stuff:
You can enable Subtitles and Auto-translate to English to get the gist of it. Around 9 minutes into it he talks about how the "Sword of Damocles" hung over his head and he was "very afraid" that "journalists" would pull what they did with the first game on him again about how "it's not very diverse and blabla". He talks about how he was afraid they would scour his Facebook, Auto-translate his political rants and write up how he's a "Trumpist right-winger and against this and that" or something and publish articles about it. He talks about how that felt like a threat to him and he felt prepared to get fired over it.
Then he talks about how "the other side attacked him" and called him Woke and that could have helped him, because the group that hated them the first time around started knee-jerk cheering for them because they hate the other group. He talks about how he took the "journalist" criticism of the first game to heart and they put some things into the game based on that. Then he rambles on about "Racism" and "Anti-Woke" and how he identifies as a Centrist now or something and talks about Extremist Christians coming after him and calling him things because he trampled on Christianity. Then the hosts start shilling The Last of Us 2 and they start talking about that.
Then there's a Paywalled portion of the interview, and this is apparently the portion of it where he talks about self-censorship and Consultants (like Sweet Baby Inc.): https://vocaroo.com/1bWlgPG3gT6F
Someone Czech translated this small portion like this:
Moderator: And they (the producer) didn't interfere with the development in any way even in this age of culture wars?
Vavra: No, we were rather careful, they were interested in what we were doing and were informed, but they liked it and didn't tell us what to add or remove. Perhaps it was also like that because we self-censored, of course you self-censor, there are things you think really hard about, how you portray them, because in this age of oversensitive people....
Moderator: Any examples?
Vavra: We verified everything with a ton of different consultants to make sure that no one will complain that we portray anyone differently than it should be. For every religion, for every minority, for every group of people, we had consultants we sent our script to, and we asked them whether we have something wrong in the script. And the things they said to us were cool, in the end the game is better thanks to that as they told us what to remove...
"It was *my* decision to self-censor" - Dan here
I'm not sure if the self-cucking is more disappointing than being forced to cave in by investors...
Self-cucking is worse because you're doing it out of fear. At least if you're cucking to investors, it's because you need their money.Statesman wrote: ↑ April 29th, 2025, 14:57I'm not sure if the self-cucking is more disappointing than being forced to cave in by investors...
I'm not buying the "afraid of journalists" line. He jewed because it's in his nature, and he couldn't overcome it.
He talked too much **** on twitter for that to be true before KCD2 release and afterwards. Guess the sales numbers and the leaks put a dent in his plan to get even more money and a gotcha at the chuds.
"I don't care what they tell you in College of Winterhold, Tiber Septim was a Redguard.”
The man is a pig. Pure and simple. Pathétique.
Congratulations to Vavra he killed the series present and future.
What he did to KCD2 simply shot the games legs with a shotgun, it's completely destroyed, there is absolutely no uptick in the metrics for the game anymore be it for sales, updates or even controversy, we now know the peak of the "modern audience":

Warhorse studios ****** around and found out.
