Apparently the "African history" expert they used, Isaac Samuel, published a paper on how Africans discovered Europe rather than Europeans discovering Africa.

going to take over the makeup industry or whatever women like and just have all the women be lesbians, anytime they show any affection for each other they just start having sex
I'm sorry to tell you but they are also into that. Just go to your average B&N romance section. If it isn't homosexual sex it is lesbian sex. The only romance that is allowed to be promoted in books today is homosexuality. There is a reason for this. According to men who have tried to get their books published the lesbian feminists who are now in charge of the publishing industry tell them that they will not publish books that promote patriarchal family structures or heteronormative romances. The only books they will allow to be publish are books that are deconstructions of patriarchal family structures and books that have gay and ***** romances. To think people wonder why men and boys are no longer reading books.

I can't actually find any peer reviewed papers he's written. Here's an article that lines up with it tho:

If you want to go search for his actual education/publications, go ahead, but Google's AI summary says this:

@Furin might want to add this to the informational blurb if you've still got room. Hired a complete nutter history revisionist, possibly doesn't even have a degree in history, as a history consultant.

If more people put the initial effort into searching things out, instead of wanting everything handed to them, we'd have a much smarter population. It's sad if that's the situation with publishing but it's not surprising. At least there are other avenues to publish nowadays.

There is but a lot of book readers just prefer the real thing you can take with you where you dont have to look at a screen.

I wonder if I pirate the update with the hair style options if my old saves will work. Still stuck on a forced stealth section that sucks too much for me to bother continuing.
I'm just stating the facts.

Not the sort of slipping in and out I got this game for unfortunately so I'm unsure if I'll ever complete it.

It's pretty fun when you're in the open world I just wish there was more stuff to do like dungeons. The story content is very hit or miss with a lot of scripted segments that feel like they're only just barely functional and often really tedious.

The world is dead. Once you're all kitted up, you have no real reason to do anything but fast travel around from quest to quest. Some of the quests are pretty good, but there really aren't that many.

I was hoping that Modding would fix up a lot of those issues, but I haven't seen a single mod that inserts anything new into the map. From what I've seen on Discord it's not so simple to accomplish. I believe people are trying to reverse engineer everything because it's impossible to even insert anything into the map in the current state. If they aren't successful, then this game has no replayability. Not worth bothering with, really. KCD1 was superior to it in just about every way.

If modding could fix up the world, then I'd have no problem spending time trying to clean up the garbage.
Gay sex has already been modded out.
Musa, you can easily change his appearance and some guy has already changed a lot of the subtitles. If you have the time, you can either rerecord or use AI to output new audio dialogue, it's easy to overwrite them.
The Jew stuff is a bit more difficult due to the pogrom questline. I'm sure you could figure out ways to clean that up a bit though.

Either way, I'm not wasting time on a game that I have no desire to ever replay in its current state.

No update on the sales number of "nearly 2 million" copies, I feel like if something happened Embracer Group would proudly flaunt it.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was possibly the Codex's most anticipated title of 2025, but then The Leak happened. What followed was a 200 page feeding frenzy that required the forum to be reorganized in order to properly contain it.

It's very convenient that gameplay is now the only consideration for a community that selected Disco Elysium as GOTY

If he were written as 100% straight, that would not fix the other deep issues the game has. It's a superficial annoyance.

can't think of any games with gameplay issues that a classic RPG forum might enjoy for other reasons :)

The longer I play this the more it wears me down and the more bored I get.

@rusty_shackleford post back 30-40 pages about how KCD design gets boring quickly keeps echoing in my brain. I'm not sure I can finish it.
