I think Trynn uses a goblin animation because I remember from a stream where every character was turned into Halsin that all the goblins would shrink for their conversations.
Didn't see anything that relates to goblin in the code to be honest.

Ah, it was PlusUI not working with the latest setup of RR and No Alphabets.

I have now tried for two days, and yesterday especially since I wanted to get my mind to something else to play this game. I am constantly tapping out or go away to do something else that I managed to get to the druid grove after the game running for 9 hours.

WHY IS IT SO ******* BOOOOOOOOOOOORING, I really had hoped that the mods do something about it. Why is this game such a success? I don't get it.

The mod is good though.
Well, here's your ******* problem. Sit down and focus on one thing at a time and you'll actually make some progress and start having some fun.
Seriously, who the hell sits down to play the RPG with a mindset "oh, I'll just "watch" it like a slop TV show and get fun from doing it".
No joke, committing to finishing AG games so I can get these totally sick badges has made me enjoy games more. I'm more resistant to dropping games at the first opportunity I feel a little boredom. There's something to be said about conditioning yourself to finish something you started.
Yeah, the last part especially I've noticed among younger generations but also some peers. I've observed a lot fewer people finish things they start, be that games, hobbies, or just things you do. Not even excluding myself - I do catch myself every now and then wanting to jump from one thing to another without seeing the previous one to conclusion. I think the shortening attention span is correlated to that, and behind it the intentional design of modern media that encourages and caters to short attention spans forming a reinforcement loop - shorter attention spans respond better to content encouraging them, in turn shortening further as said content caters to that degradation.

So FYI, after digging through the paks and doing some A/B testing it seems like the PlusUI is just broken by Larian's latest update and not any mod interactions with RR.

Sitting down and focus? What a monkey take.

Maybe you should focus on the fact that the game is ****, the problem is not my inability to focus but on Baldurs gate 3s inability to capture my attention.
but it's good and you're wrong tho
Ehhhhhhh...
The only "good" parts of BG3 are the exploration, dungeon crawling, and narrative presentation. Everything else kinda sucks, but both normies and dumb chuds are hypnotized by mocapped dialogues with semi-decent voice actors.

Nettie still looks like a dark skinned dwarf while Kagha's 2nd in command looks white and has a beard. There must be a mod conflict.

Okay, Nettie was changed, but there are two weird things going on.

First, at some times where the camera shifts to her, the camera seems to think she's still a dwarf and focuses lower, basically leaving human Nettie's head out of frame.

Also, her circlet seems to be duplicated and is clipping through her chest.

Image

Is this because I installed the mod mid-game, or is this a known issue?

Maybe you should try false advertising the mod to reddit ****** with this bit of info to see if they change their minds.

Yeah all of those are known issues. The camera angle can't be fixed, but the rest gonna be fixed next update

I think the only time the camera on Nettie was off was when the camera focused not on her face, but on something else - like the poisoned stick or the injured bird.

So the clipping is going to be fixed? These are great news! Is the update going to be safe for mid-game or will it require a new playthrough?

Always safe. Reskins don't affect your game when you v uninstall. Only mods that adds items to your inventory does.

Something I think would be a cool addition and which I'd like you modders' opinion on:
What would you guys think about changing how Shart changes her hair in Act III, by making it so she always just changes her fringe and keeps the black hair like when she stays sharite. I always found that hair bleaching part kind of cringe.
Also, does this mod also make Minthara a bit darker? (May have asked this before, not sure)

This mod doesn't intend to touch companions as far as I know, so I was wondering.

We've been mulling over that Shadowheart fickle hair change nonsense. But will require dialogue edits so its not something we wanna bother with rn

I dont think she (Minthara ) was touched...

Would be cool if she was, even if optional
And does it really? I thought it was just "generic" you like my new hair/the way I've done it lines, not actually referencing the colour/white hair change? Or rather that it's the same lines as when sharite. Might be remembering wrong though.

Been a while since i played that part  .

But changing her hair to black is a simple matter though

Just peeked at my datamined dialogs:

"An unexpected benefit of my training. Any novice knows how to source the right herbs and mixtures to alter one's hair"

"This hairstyle is closer to Lady Shar's own image. I did it to honour her... what do you think?"

"The hair is just a gesture, true, but everything has a first step."

Player reply: "I like it. You seem to be growing closer to the Moonmaiden's light by the moment." <- vague reference but easily changed since unvoiced

 I guess having her bangs grow suddenly long might be some weird herb mixture effect in a fantasy universe. She never actually mentions the color white.

Touching companions in a NPC aesthetics mods seems out of scope and potentially annoying, since so many other mods affect companions in many ways. Just let them have their own standalone mods a la Wylls of Toril.

There are 15 results just for 'shadowheart hair' on Nexus, and in particular the exact change @Reichspepe is asking for already exists.

I guess i'm not surprised, at all.

If we do end up changing any companions it's gonna be a posted as an optional mod, since we're aware companions are a touchy subject, and everyone plays with different versions of them.

Really cool! The Dwarf was a nice change to the gnome that we had previously. Although, I did feel the need to drop his voice down a step.

A 60/40 split between the human and non-human population for the dynamic crowds feels like there would be too many non-humans in Baldur's Gate, yet 80/20 feels like it would result in too few non-humans. Would a 70/30 split, which I think would balance it out a bit more while still leaving humans as the overwhelmingly majority population, be a future possibility? Or is this a factor that is already taken into account with the "Swaps" section of the mod?

Regardless, thank you for all of the work put into making this mod. Along with No Alphabets, it's become a staple in my mod list.

I was going to create a different version but yes swaps and 70% would make it too human. 80% works best for people who don't want swaps imo but 60%, i felt was indeed the perfect balance for Swaps.
