If I just want the heads to use on player characters and not all the lorebreaking fanfic and self insert stuff just the head file will work right?
I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?

I'm gonna have to put slightly brown hair on default ingame durge as a fix for next patch to match cinematics. Plus ... its much nicer
He seems fine now as is, I think.

Well i guess it doesn't matter much since we can edit him how we like in CC

Thank you @SniperChris and @ArunnyE for making it known how much attention can be farmed from making BG3 mods and inspiring so many imitators :bounce:

This is such a beautiful mod! Thank you all for making it, I'm excited to play a new game and actually get through Act 3 without being weirded out.

I came across a problem trying to get it working though - BG3 Mod Manager is saying "No mods imported. Does the file contain a .pak?" when I try to upload some of the Realms Restored pak files. The "REALM RESTORED - [4] Name Changes" and "RealmsRestored_80pcDynamicCrowds" pak files work fine, the others aren't being recognized. Nevermind I solved the issue, my mod manager wasn't updated :toot:

This is so impressive, I swear its like you're channeling the spirit of the creators of the original BG 1 & 2 (not the enhanced editions with their ******** changes) to make Baldur's Gate 3 the way it should have always been.

Absolutely phenomenal work! Having elves actually look like elves, and big bads like Cazador and Raphael look unique and imposing, adds a lot more to the setting than the vanilla game ever did. :toot:

All the changes look fantastic, though, might I ask for an Isobel restoration mod to go with the other restoration patches at some point? I enjoy the white hair aesthetic that the Selunites got in game, personal preference I know. It's the only thing preventing me from downloading immediately haha.

Have not modded Baldur's Gate 3 in a while, but I do recall the heads just needing to be placed in a certain folder to override anyone that uses it, so, while I haven't looked at this mod's files yet, I do believe the same process should apply, just need to get the files (if there is just one file, it should be extracted but I do know there are ways to do this as I did it often with Nexus mods to get the heads for my character). Can even use Cazador's head for example, or a different race's head, just the textures will need a similar replacing or they will keep the previous head's (wrinkles or strange blush on the lips for ******-asian "elf" head for example), can even be tested and swapped around, textures too, while the game is running! Only limitation that I know of is that some heads (like Astarion's used for player) had the eyes glitching or, if they were made for, for example, gnome and used on elf, they would either not show up or be lower than the neck or similar. If the body shape is the same as the head, it should work out of the box
- Here to show my support for normal gaming.

Thank you for existing! :bounce:

Incredible work and well worth the wait.

So, what mods do we actually need now? Does this replace BBA and Immersive Heads? What about Hjilmare's mods? And what about the regular aesthetic mods on Nexus like the various head, eyes, hairs, etc. Can we still use those?

thanks as well to the rest of the ModdersHQ for trying to contribute and share ideas to help design a rich and detailed mod for a year even if not everything was used.

@loregamer and @orinesque - awesome job! Have you guys considered perhaps combining all these works (no alphabets, better romance, BBA etc) into one pack? It would be much less of a headache keeping track of everything for sure! No doubt everyone who installs one is likely installing the rest anyway, so it would save a lot of time...

EDIT: Also, the Realms Restored banner you made is hilarious. Look forward to more triggering.

Buona Pasqua!

This looks amazing, however I get an error trying to install it on Mod Manager. When I add the files I get the error "No mods imported. Does the file contain a .pak?" even though the .rar files clearly contain the required files. Am I doing something wrong? I've dozens of other mods installed through MM without this error.

Because the mod is more about aligning the game to the women who worked on its personal tastes not making it more lore accurate.

The inclusion of so many Dragonborn is a weird thing considering the Lore.
The idea behind changing Durge was because most people who play Durge, change it from a Lizard into human or elf.
A lot of people were put off playing Durge, even though it's pretty much the intended default character, just because they thought they'd be forced to play as a big @Tweed
arisen wrote: ↑ April 21st, 2025, 04:45
A personal smooch (no gay) to whoever suggested and un-furried Durge. Always wanted to show middle finger to his dragonborn fangirls littering my feed on Pinterest whenever I clicked on BG-related art. More than 400 midgets are the equivalent of more than 400 face slaps to the community. Warlocks of the **** are ought to pay RPGHQ team a hefty amount for the free manual labor.
@Makirige suggested it to Lore first, I believe.

I really wanted to change the default character to Human Male instead of Female Elf Barbarian. The game picks those just alphabetically since they are first listed. I couldn't get there to be defaults, so I just changed Durge to Human and then had it so he's auto-selected when you join CC.

So basically he was changed so you don't have to click 5 buttons to get White Human Male anymore

This is also why I did this and why the solution to changing the default CC character to auto-selecting durge in CC was a happy accident
