The reason you're thinking that is because they drew a 100% white girl and then just painted her skin in a generic mulatto color to get those sweet inclusivity shekels. Portuguese tan in summer but most are naturally pale. Spain has a higher occurrence of olive-skin and even they have a huge percentage of pale-in-winter population.

At this stage it seems to border on a fetish. Pity, the concept has actual merit. No way though I'll spend money on a game that forces me to play as an obnoxious black probably-also-lesbian.

Edit: Checked a preview on Youtube, you get to choose which characters to play, but the game is still pretty awful in the way it's implemented: There's no character creator, you get to pick between four "personalities" which come with human bodies attached.
