Please don't use the x3 version of the badges in the table.
Better? Not sure why it's resizing the AG table badges diffferently than JAG
I would recommend just using the original size (x1?) to match what appears on someone's posts instead of the automatically generated versions that are created when rusty uploads them.
Done

I also added size 1 text in front of the links so they will properly sort now

Starfire was translated in part by our very own AncientDoorhinge, that has to be a glowing endorsement in and of itself.
https://www.romhacking.net/translations/6138/
That is interesting, why is that not in the list for potential games?

I'm definitely going to play that one.

There are no specific rules for suggestions, is it limited to PC only and other limitations like no JRPGs or something?

Else I would like to suggest Terranigma, which was never released in the US it is a SNES title and has an european english release, the translation is a bit wonky but works most of the time, I think it has very fantastic themes and is a blast to play, easy to get into and I can beat it under 10 hours, nobody should need more than 15.

EDIT: I just saw @rusty_shackleford contention with playing starfire, a shame really, getting a PC-98 emulator to run is not a big task

EDIT:² I also never played ultima underworld, if deus ex is featured having it as part of the (junior adventures guild) would maybe give me a reason to do so. I tried it once and was already stuck at getting into the dungeon, experienced Groknards would be appreciated.

Rusty can't imagine apple or remember breakfast so setting up a non mainstream emulator will cause him to start flailing his arms about and punching holes in the wall.

I'm working through Of Orcs and Men, but I enjoyed Dark Sun: Shattered Lands. Just make sure you have a spellcaster, because the final battle is pretty rough without one. If you're not feeling that, I don't think anyone has Hexx: Heresy of the Wizard if you want to be the first to complete that.

Orcs and Men is a good pick; it's short and easy. I was considering Shards or Dark Sun.

If it's something I haven't played before, I go through on the default/normal, since I consider that to be the intended experience. If it's something I have played before, like Deus Ex, I play on something harder.

Thinking of continuing AG classic but rather than it being monthly, having it be after at least a few people get the badge + a few months pass.

That means go do the dark sun badge you ingrates.

I'm dropping some suggestions, hopefully this is the right place.

First off I suggest we play this. It's got that cool and cozy cartoon look from the 80s that everybody loves.

Next up is the sequel in which we get to fight nazis with our bare hands. Thrilling stuff!

There were some issues with running this on modern systems but I don't think it was anything unsolvable.

And last but not... well last and least I suggest we go through DAII. Seeing as you've already done Origins it would make sense for the whole gang to go through the sequel, right?

Truth be told I've been meaning to playthrough Dragon Age II for some time now but haven't had the hearth to do so. Not only that but the game lacks Steam achievements so there is nowhere for me to to look for extra motivation other than the sweet little badge I'd get if I complete it here with you guys.

Users who finish the latest month's game get to nominate a title for next month's, then everyone votes on it before the next month arrives. January's over and the dust has already settled, so February is gonna be Baldur's Gate 1.

Going to set the cutoff for 𝙲𝙻𝙰𝚂𝚂𝙸𝙲 to around '97 with leeway for newer games that are made in the style of earlier games. I think Fallout is probably the earliest junior AG would go, @Oyster Sauce?

𝙲𝙻𝙰𝚂𝚂𝙸𝙲 won't be offered every month.

I was thinking that it's detrimental to have AG game discussions be on a separate thread from the game's main thread. It just splits discussion needlessly into two threads, one of which will seldomly get used again after the month is over.

It seems the poll mechanic would be the only hiccup in this suggestion, polls can only be done in the OP. If comments were to get this functionality as well, you could have the whole AG process in the main thread, and everyone interested in the game would be aware it's happening.

And in the case of games that didn't have a thread before their AG month happened, the AG thread could be adopted as the main thread. The thread having the AG prefix in the title might confuse users that would otherwise recognize it as the main thread to discuss that game.

Not sure I made my point come across well enough, but the intent is to concentrate and simplify discussion instead of splintering away between AG and non-AG users.

To clarify, you're suggesting that polls be held in one thread and then AG discussion moves to pre-existing threads for whatever game won?

@valter i don't recall any games that have both a regular main thread and AG thread.

Also always assumed that any AG thread becomes game's main discussion thread.

It is no hard labour to browse two (or ten) threads instead of one. I just find it needlessly inconvenient.

If you want to discuss a video game you discuss it in the one thread dedicated to it. Seems pretty easy and simple tbh.

**** it, I'm in for next month. I see that Storm of Zehir is standalone but am I at a disadvantage by not having a character from the base game or anything like that?
