Maybe Mass Effect 2 with Genesis if Mass Effect 1 is too slow. I've heard of people getting stuck in the first area then giving up. With a few mods too.
Part-time modder for Mass Effect Legendary Edition

If I can't play a Fairy Bishop that multiclasses into an Alchemist, or a space-ape monk, I don't want it. Not real Wizardry.

Timeline of Wizardry:
1-3 DND, simple stuff, change classes, computer hates you
4 Jewish mysticism, computer really hates you
5 Last of the old engine, beginning of the Bradley era
6-7 Evolution of the class system, advancing beyond dnd.
8 perfection of the system

The endlessly iterate on a given concept and hone it to perfection. I do concede that in its degenerate state, they tend to fall into what you say.

Play Wizardry: Tales of the Forsaken Land. Wizardry Online was pretty fun too (although it did, in fact, represent a genuine innovation, I suppose).

During the Launch of Drag Age Failguard, why not include Dragon Age Origins in the AG, so we can bumb a bit the player count of Origins, only because would be funny if Origins ends up with more active players than failguard.

Is the Dark Sun:Shattered Lands still mentioned in the Current Games List meant to be Dark Sun: Wake of the Ravager or did someone simply forget to edit it out of the list?

I think 2025 should introduce themed months. For example, January the nominations need to be sequels, February they need to spiritual successors, March games are in a fantasy setting, April (fools) the nominations must be games that previously lost a vote, etc.

Better? Not sure why it's resizing the AG table badges diffferently than JAG

@Oyster Sauce less than 3 weeks remain to adopt proposition 171430: themed adventurer guild months.

Think of the antics:
  • Vergil will find a way to complain that the game he wanted doesn't fit the theme.
  • Someone else will find a way to fit the same game to every single theme.
  • Drama over whether or not "any game that Bioware didn't make" is an appropriate theme.
During the mid-month lull you can initiate discussion about what next month's theme will be. Drama will ensue over whether or not the theme should be chosen by fiat or another poll. Organic engagement metrics.

I would recommend just using the original size (x1?) to match what appears on someone's posts instead of the automatically generated versions that are created when rusty uploads them.
