Don't think I can be bothered to play the Hammerfell expansion.
The game didn't need any DLC, not any DLC that expanded the story anyways. They somehow managed to end it in an incredibly tasteful way, presumably by accident. Despite being a side story, the original ending made it fit into the LotR story perfectly and gave Tallon a fitting end to his story.

Guess we can't have that…

We might get the real numbers about KCD2 when DLCs are out. If they sell well - the game has found its audience.

Elaborate for us. Not everyone follows faux-JRPGs.

Tbh, I dropped out of the game around the release of it since it was too much Wuk-Lamat

Yes, I really am wondering. If I recall correctly, he's the reason why FF14 is one of Square's few recent success stories that doesn't need so many asterisks that it looks like a constellation map.

Though I think he also didn't like being on the board in the first place, to the point he tried resigning from the post once.

It is most likely because the last expansions were not as much of a success as the previous ones. Dawntrail got a lot of pushback from fans because the focus was on Wuk-Lamat. Pair that with her being voiced by a ****** in the english dub plus content being very underwhelming makes the upper management probably a little angry

Geez, I wonder why.

I have seen this discussed on FF14 forums and discords. The headline is misleading, it's just a rearranging of the titles of the departments. Yoshida is now one of the seven executives officers on a management committee that reports to the shareholders, so he still greenlights games. As much as I would like Square to take the criticisms of the past five years of FF14 to heart, historically Square (and other MMO developers like Blizzard and Arena Net) does not do that and are content to let the decline to continue because they are making so much money. Also, Yoshi-P has made some progressive comments, and one of the new suit leaders at Square is a ******, and we all know how these people have a moral imperative to push their message whether it is profitable or not.

Yup. Square Enix has been falling from grace for quite some time now. Yoshida also directed FFXVI which generally had poor reception with players so giving him power to greenlight games is yet another bad sign for Square Enix. While I have known Square Enix was taken over by corrupt ideology for a very long time, I had no clue the corruption had spread so far to include a ****** in their higher ups. They have truly reached the point of no return.

It's been all downhill since Square became Square Enix.

TLOU 3 is not in the works, TLOU multiplayer was cancelled, their only upcoming game is going to be another woke flop. Looks like this could be it for Naughty Dog.

The launch trailer shows nothing but women and non-whites.

The 10k concurrent players just wasn't enough to cover every staff members reassignment surgery

Game was interesting but there was no marketing no nothing. It was cool that you had two characters on the map.
Basically one was securing B while you were moving around trying to kill the other team and if someone was near B you get notifications and can then switch to the "Spectre"

To be fair, most of the game was decent. The ending to the first game was the primary problem; it was a ******* abomination where they tried to set up a sadistic choice... while forgetting that they had undermined one of those choices.

They only really shat the bed with their next outing where they killed off the male main character to set up a strong wahmen fight between his adopted girl and the killer... and in the end you don't even get to kill the worthless *****.

It's brain-washing. You can kill untold numbers of people, but you will spare your hated enemy because of her sob story.

I'll like to point out that there is something more sinister with Cuckmann's take on TLoU than this. American Krogan brought up the fact that Cuckmann believes that Joel sparing Ellie and protecting her from the Fireflies was "selfish" even though Joel did want any father would have done. There is a belief that many **** like Cuckmann have in that gentile parents must sacrifice their offspring to the Jewish people and their desires. **** like Cuckmann don't care if thousands of gentile children must die. Those children are subhuman in their eyes so it is okay to sacrifice them. The Talmud states this numerous times. Cuckmann constantly keeps rewriting the lore that Amy Henning had for TLoU 1 in that the Fireflies would have found a cure in Ellie and that Ellie would have been glad to die at the hands of the Fireflies instead of the Fireflies finding a cure from Ellie being a slim chance. Cuckmann constantly is looking for ways to justify him and his peoples hatred of the goy and trying to make their lives seem of less value than a Jew.

They must want to market this game to black people (black women to be specific). Turns out black women do not want to buy their game.

Brass Lion Entertainment layed off a bunch of people. In case you don't know them, it's a POC-majority studio headquartered in New York City and Montréal that "focused on creating original fictional universes that center on Black, Brown, and other traditionally marginalized characters, cultures, and stories."
