Is this some out of game lore crap? I remember nothing in the game even hinting at that. The only homosexual in the game is the one at Sasau monastery, being there to repent for his affliction or not fall to sin by being a monk there.

There's nothing to suggest he's actually gay.
But I suspect this will change in KCD2.

Well the game didn't have a cutscene of him proudly and openly coming out of the closet and then having some succulent man on man action, but that doesn't mean he was straight. He had this flamboyant gay attitude, and also at some point the game heavily implied that his right hand man Eric was his lover.

No one was bothered by that because Istvan was the main bad guy, and because his gayness wasn't used to paint him in sympathetic light.

Nah I don't see a drop in wishlist numbers and all those angry stream posters will buy it anyway. I also would have bought it pre-assloading. Good games sell regardless of wokeness.

But I think I have read somewhere prior to release there is no timelimit. Could be wrong though on this part.

Shouldn't have lashed out like that. That gave him ammo to "morally come out on top" by putting the label of evil on you and be done with it instead of having to explain himself in front of Xitter. On the other hand there have been dozens of polite posts (including mine) asking him to explain and all we got was deafening silence, so maybe it was necessary to expose it since he probably wouldn't reply otherwise. Seems like he was waiting for this kind of a reaction to be honest. Anyways, this reaction seems to imply that theres more and im kind of fed up with it and especially with how ******* sneaky it all is, at least trash ******** like Dragon Age Failguard was extremely obvious with it from the start. This makes it so much worse.
