Which are the long-tail/small budget RPGs you are looking forward most?

For discussing role-playing video games, you know, the ones with combat.

For me its still Arcadian Atlas, Call of Saregnar and Island of the Caliph. The last two likely will get released at some point, the first is at least still posting regular updates. Of course there is also Archaelund, the last game I kickstarted...

Not really a fan of zombie games at all, but there are very few apocalyptic RPGs: viewtopic.php?p=4148-apocalyptic-not-po ... rpgs#p4148

Urban Strife is also on my list, but somehow I don't have much hope. Could easily be another Encased kind of game. Theoretically sound, but way beyond their dev skills/talents.

Exanima is already playable. The combat is really good, though funny to look at.

Nah Arcadian Atlas was some Kickstarter game years ago, they actually never really stopped posting. I am following this game for least 4 years I think...

Spiritual successor to Suikoden, being made by the same devs. Suikoden had that right mix of six-member parties traversing the world, SRPG armies battles, and climatic 1v1 duels. Suikoden had the highest number of playable characters, though in later entries the poorly executed skill system didn't make all of them viable like in earlier games. I hope Eiyuden captures the same heavy war feel with lots of casualties that the original Suikoden had. The promotional art for Eiyuden has me worried because it seems to be playing up Suikoden 2 nostalgia, which felt very light on consequences.

I agree with aweigh here. C&C is mostly just sunk work hours. It hasn't been accomplished in a way that felt truly worth it. (Sidenote: what are some games do you think succeeded in implementing C&C?) It feels like something that works well at the table being shoehorned in a medium that is fighting it at every step of the way. I find it true that the more simple "choose to be prepared or to take a risk" is the best way to go about C&C on vidya in general. Besides, being a special snowflake is what character/party creation is for.

Oh, and more on topic I am SO READY for Call of Saregnar. Sagrenar? Eh, whatever.

didn't find any specific thread so dropping the new trailer here, jannies feel free to move this to somewhere more appropriate:

Does it really count as a small budget just because it imploded under its own weight and turned into a miniature black hole?

Underrail sequel. Colony Ship sequel (surely the original was sufficiently successful). Full release of Stellar Tactics, Songs of Styx, Stoneshard, etc.
