Larian already announced that their next game will be smaller and more niche. Presumably all the attention brought by BG3 had its downsides. Also, Witches of the Swamp cast its eye on the company and is almost certainly to blame for some of the ********.

Still, with all the diversity hires Larian now employs it's only a matter of time until the usual suspects try and take complete control of the company.

DnD is ******** though. Luckily it's still pen and paper so any retardation can be stopped by an attentive GM.

More pozzed but less DND retardation. Their next game is rumored to be scifi and they are open to expanding their own combat system (think DOS2) beyond tabletop limitations.
