Alright, it took me 66 hours to 100% everything aside from 2-3 equipment chests. The graphics are good, the gameplay is fine (not what Dragon Age should be, but it's alright for what it is), the soundtrack is mediocre.
The plot is trash, the lore is raped, the characters are ****. The art style and LA demographics and ***** propaganda are revolting.
You can't jump into this game without having played at least Inquisition. But then this game disregards like 75-80% of it and goes into a completely different direction both gameplay and tone wise.
All in all, Dragon Age Veilguard is a return to form and I hope every single developer that worked on it gets euthanized.
"Oh, it all makes sense now, brother."

Yeah, I've had it spoiled and I noticed how they made sure nobody ever brings him up. I bet the were thinking how clever they were. Newsflash, M Night Shamalama did this twist ages ago.
If your going to do a plot twist like that you actually have to make it make sense and not have a **** ton of plot holes if you think about it more then 5 minutes.

Fun fact: for all the ******** libshits love whining about how Spain plundered the colonies they never mention how outright nice the Spanish were to their allies. The Tlaxcaltecs were loyal to the point Charles V of Spain spared the from pretty much any negative consequences of the conquest and gave them a bunch of rewards, including royal recognition.
Imagine if the British had recognized this in India instead of feeling sorry for the losers and going the "white man's burden" route.
They should have simply sniped that deranged little rat-man Ghandi one night and blamed it on the paki-muzzies.

The British's primary flaw was not going divide and conquer on the natives. As much as the Indians might complain (or at least, the libshits claiming to speak for the Indians), Indian culture and most damningly, their government structures and officials were mostly left in place. They even permitted the existence of "Princely states" where indian rulers acted autonomously so long as they paid tribute and lip service to the British crown.

From the perspective of the common Indian Britain was just another ruling power leeching away at them. The reason the Spanish were successful where the British failed is because Spanish rulership, despite the eternal whining about colonization, was legitimately better than the Aztec's savagery and primitive way of living.

Even when the British tried to bring civilization to India they did it wrong. Ghandi was educated in ******* London and brought his revolutionary ideals back to India when he returned. The British crown really ****** up constantly and it's no surprise their empire crumbled once WWI and II drained their coffers enough that they could no longer keep the colonies under control.

It's ironic, really. The entire reason Britain was so eager to push everyone into WWI was to prevent a rival empire in Europe rising too high, but the eventual consequences of their high handed meddling (combined with the idea that they were untouchable) ended up destroying their own empire as well.

It shows that they learned absolutely nothing from the lesson the American Revolution should have taught them.

Their flaw was not concocting a targeted extermination campaign of the *****. Depopulate the whole subcontinent and then resettle it with humans.

The new cope now is that the game is such a gem and a "refreshing" project of true gamer spirit by not creating DLC for it. They are saying its back to the era of "playing complete games".

Video games generally make most of their sales in the first three weeks or so. As long as the complicit media keeps the puff-pieces on Bioware might still sell a few copies.

Of course the forecast doesn't seems to be very rosy for DA: Deadname. Any word on sales or are they indulging in forced positivity until EA's investors demand actual facts?

There should be a law that every game development team must contain an average eight year old boy. Every writer making a suggestion the boy can pick apart gets a kick in the balls from said boy. Female writers get sprayed with cat urine to prepare them for their lonely future as childless cat ladies.

This will serve as entertainment for boys, motivation for writers to maintain a minimum level of competency and, as an additional bonus, stop the dumbest writers from procreating.

I feel like the only point in modding this game would be to turn it into a parody of itself - changing the text and voices to riddicule everything in some way thereby crapping on top of the pedestal lefties put this game on

The game is so bad that I don't think full modding compatibility and 100+ volunteers working for a year would make much difference. Sure, you could at least make the NPCs look normal, but good luck editing 95% of the dogshit dialogues and writing.

Somebody should add a laughing track for every bit of dialogue Trash is involved in. Also, a mod to turn all the NPCs white for the extra salt.

Imagine fighting all day, finally sitting down, maybe to a nice dinner, and this gray horned thing that looks like a bad guy tells you it wants to be special. I'd flip the ******* table, make a tuna salad, and eat it in my room.

RPG parties written like a best friends origin at college is the worst thing to happen in the history of role playing games. Do they write characters who just do it for loot, or is it always my little pony/school shonen with these ****? Its made me question the "you need a good friends to enjoy rpgs". No. From where I'm looking, everybody needs to be an *******, so they all focus on the mission.

Somebody on reddit of all places pointed out how Traash's character arc is coming out as non-binary, but her actual personal quest ends with her making a binary choice between being either Qunari or Rivaini.
Even the redditfags think Traash is the worst companion ever, with a lot of them saying how much of a hypocrite she is.
My favourite example is the clip about her being a **** to the polite and reasonable necromancer conpanion. He goes "She's calling me a death mage" and she responds without a hint of self awareness "Because that's what you are!" A raging transphobic bigot couldn't have written her as more of an abrasive ******** child than the ***** head writer did. It's as much of a baffling situation as the whole Dustborn fiasco.

I tried out the American PC voices. The American male is so-so, but the American female is shockingly terrible. It's Erika Ishii, the crazy Asian ***** they got to ruin (play the protagonist of) the Ghost of Tsushima sequel. I ragged on her previously, but I was 100% unfamiliar with her VA work. Holy **** is she fuckawful at voice acting. Wrong pronunciation of names, stilted delivery, mushing and slurring words. The casting director needs to have his ears cut off for this travesty.

Even redditors are unable to swallow this particular turd in the name of progress. Turns out supporting the cause isn't that attractive when it requires playing a game this bad. BG3 was pozzed up every orifice, but at least it was a fun game to play. That and most of the audience didn't know how much the lore was butchered. Failhard's main audience is only here because it's a Dragon Age title, and seeing the setting ****** up beyond belief breaks through the "support diverse games no matter what" programming.

Game Stop trade-in evaluates this game at $22. Meaning it lost more than 30% of its value in roughly 10 days.
