I hate sharing videos of people like this but he is right; even +50k players for this utter abomination is still too much.
He really overestimates how few people 50k is, imo. Anything with brand power is going to still sell a decent amount.
sure 50k for any AAA game let alone Dragon Age is terrible but still 500000 ******* bought this game despite all the signs that its going to be disaster even without taking into account woke slop and that last Bioware title was Andromeda
yeah this time "chuds" won cause gayguard will not even cover its costs but still grim how braindead average gamer is nowadays

The time is ripe to make a game about a merc group that raids tombs, fucks over natives, uses necromancy in bad ways, and lots of other politically incorrect stuff too.
I would make a game where the protagonist is a White blonde-hair and blue-eyed gigachad that is tasked by his imperialist kingdom to conquer savage lands inhabited by dark-skinned people.

Make the narrative into a "kingdom and Whites good/savage ******* bad". I would buy and play the **** out of it.

You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.

The joke is they're meant to be thieves, not archaeologists.
Bold of you to call this preachy slop a "joke." It's obvious it was supposed to be very meta and topical to what libtards like to parrot & complain about.
"We actually salvage from ruins, so we don't harm people UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE (the British)."
Success breeds jealousy. We're so fond of the handicap that we've ran our country into the ground for a laugh.

We could probably change it quite quickly if we got bored with our pets, though.

That said - the pathetic preaching of people who do not even bother to read History, let alone learn from it, is very vexing. Same as the ******* who say the Chagos Islands belong to Mauritius, even though they're nearly 2000 Miles away, because at one point in time, the entire region was packaged up by the French for easy administration.
Minds exist on a spectrum, some people are just *******. They don't care about that history because they're just using the complaint to get something. It might be something incredibly petty. You have to read less into what they're saying and more into the sub context, and their underlying basic urges. You can't reason with everyone as if they're driven by logic & truth.

On one side, you have people that are not capable of much autonomy, at the extreme, they do not even have an internal monologue.
They may misunderstand concepts, in not being able to relate to them, and sometimes will say things because of the reaction it invokes, or because they are subconsciously compelled to fit in with their ingroup/ identity. Think about how many Leftists go on about 'empathy', yet display a complete lack of cognitive empathy. They associate the word "empathy" with doing things for specific groups that are painted as underdogs. Like a little girl that sees how her parents give her things, when they "empathise" with her sobbing, so she sobs, again and again, whenever she wants something. They go along with the flow of those that have the most influence over them, and focus on themselves, their immediate urges or emotions, without being able to think for themselves to a strong enough degree.

On the other side, you have highly individualistic people with strong imaginations, that are capable of in-depth thought, and because of their self-awareness & critical thinking skills, are able to formulate original worldviews and alter them accordingly. Schizotypal are people that show symptoms that could be mistaken for Schizophrenia, but are actually being withdrawn, loners with 'mood disorders'-- and of course, why wouldn't they be if they're so unlike everyone around them? These people show a strong disregard for popular notions or peer pressure, but it's not because they do not realise it (like extreme autism or downsies), they can either override the urge to conform or they lack it.

That's not to say those in the former camp are worthless or not deserving of consideration.
They are very much like children, subconsciously repeating whatever was drummed into them since they were children, or what appears to them to be the popular notion of their ingroup & authorities or influencers.
Peers stacked upon peers, with the rare thinker caught in-between, unable to reason with those around them. It's incredibly hard to reach them without institutional/ political power & relevance, but I suppose, being someone dear to them, is more important than any evidence or reasoning you could give them-- the issue is, how loyal can they be?

The European people have incredible potential when their society is cultivated & maintained by the right people.
Only once the nervous system is restored, can the lymphatic & immune system be restored, so that the defective cells & the foreign bodies can be neutralised or expelled... basic biology.

Our story is a testament to how far absolutely anyone can fall. :knight:

I was about to reply to this last screenshot pointing out how inaccurate it is regarding the lore, but then I remembered that the entire game is inaccurate about the lore.

Pretty sure you could come down very hard on the pseudo-oirish islanders in Greedfall. Like there are three people you can make leader, one is "kill all colonizers" the other is "let's all be friends" and the last is "I will sell my people out for wealth and status."

Your character's not going to advocate for a genocide, no, you are a diplomat who was sent there to avoid that outcome.

And you still can't kill the pooner. "They" gets spared for a trial instead of getting swiftly executed and you don't have a say in this.

You're not a Diplomat, you belong to a 'neutral' State of Traders. You're being sent to the Island to find a cure to a Plague.

The game physically forces you from conquering the Island.

Oooooh, that would give both of us what we wanted. The Aztec empire's downfall is fascinating.

Short summary for those not in the know: the Aztecs were primitive savages who adored their human sacrifices and loved being shitheads to all the tribes around them. Since they were the biggest and strongest, no-one could do anything about it.

Enter the Spanish. They knew they likely couldn't defeat the Aztecs by themselves despite wildly superior technology simply because their numbers were too low and the supply lines are nonexistent, what with there being an ocean between them and their home country.

So they recruited most of the tribes the Aztecs brutalized and promised them various perks for the time Spain ruled the entire area. A few tribes said "Not going to let you rule our country Whitey" and ****** off, but most of the larger ones (notably the Tlaxcaltecs ) noticed the way the wind was blowing after several demonstrations of Spanish technology.

So they teamed up and pounded the Aztec empire into the dirt where it belongs.

Fun fact: for all the ******** libshits love whining about how Spain plundered the colonies they never mention how outright nice the Spanish were to their allies. The Tlaxcaltecs were loyal to the point Charles V of Spain spared them from pretty much any negative consequences of the conquest and gave them a bunch of rewards, including royal recognition.

The conquest of the Aztec empire is a fascinating and important part of both military and diplomatic history. Which is why I'm absolutely certain that if it were made into a game today the ****** devs would absolutely **** it up.

This is so funny. The game is doing this "Look at all the people you had to sacrifice! Don't you feel sad that they're dead?" Meanwhile I chose the LA elves just because I didn't want them on my team at the moment. So, I am walking through this gallery of emotional manipulation not giving a single hoot, while my character is being all money and depressed.

The end credits are so ******* gay. First, there's an Arcane opening rip-off that they must've dumped so much money into. Then there's regular credits with some sheboon shouting over a modern-as-**** beat.
