To be fair, if you UN-check in the Display "use new helpfulness system" on the storage page, " you also begin to see negative reviews. Also, many of this positives are actually negative or "recommend on sale".

To be fair I believe the Monster Hunter Beta is free but still damming nonetheless.

Yes, Monster Hunter is a very popular franchise and the beta is free. Still, it's a beta. I don't like having games spoiled when they're at their shittiest, which is why I don't play beta releases.

Then there is the other problem: currently there is no weekend bump, which is usually what you see Friday evening. Yes, it's still Saturday, maybe it's just delayed (I hope not, this game needs to ******* sink like a stone) but let's not engage in overly premature gloating.

The further I get into the game, the worse it is. The magitech ******** is more and more prevalent, the characters are insufferable, the dialogue is low-quality-fanfic-tier.

Yeah, every body (and I mean literal bodies) is clearly a male model that is being morphed into looking like a woman's body. The clavicle and the pecks somebody's mentioned already. I doubt the devs were like "hey, let's make her extra ugly just for fun". It's probably just a result of them trying to make female characters less sexy and more "realistic". Because everyone knows that attractive women don't exist in real life, right?

Anyway, I guess we'll just have to deal with the fact that our favorite sexy witch is now a goblin.



But on the other hand ALL the characters in this game look terrible. This is the problem with the uglification of women from woke propagandists in general. So I doubt there was any "special treatment" for Morrigan.

I'm about 2 hours in. The writing is abysmal. I see all the pretty assets, the good-looking hair, hear the orchestral music. And all of it is in service of fundamentally poisoned product. All of that money and time wasted, while the writing, which is literally the cheapest part of the whole game development process, is given to the ****** hacks who don't even do it for the money or the love of the setting, but for the opportunity to saturate the game with their disgusting ideology.
The voice acting is bad too. The mystery meat cripple mage companion does sound like she was voiced by a ******, even though the VA is a woman. The ***** elf companion sounds like a parody of those manic pixie dream girl characters. She's written by the Joss Whedon acolytes, except he knew how to not overdo it, as insufferable as he was. These writers can't write anything other than tumblr fanfiction, it seems.
Anyway, I reached the first elven camp. The demographics are literally LA tier. Black and Asian elves everywhere. And not the mixed light-skinned or hapa looking elves, but sub-Saharan tar-skinned blacks and WW2 anti-Jap poster Asians. It's disgusting.
****'s sake, we know what exotic elves from the warmest climates should look like. Fenris from DA2 was from Tevinter and he and his master had white features and looked tan. Their darker skin tone already marked them as exotic, they didn't need African features for that.

How is the Rook voice actor? Varric and Solas seem to have good voice acting seeing as they seem to be professionals and not some weird people.
