Gotta say I’m not impressed by the trailer.

I read this adventure a while back. I was not impressed. It seemed boring and full of railroading.

I’m guessing Ossian studios wanted to start off small which is understandable but with the footage shown it’s looks very mediocre. I give a lot of **** to Owlcat but there games are definitely above average most RPG’s given the budget there given, I truly think Pazio luck out with Owlcat in the pathfinder games and will most likely not see anything of that level of quality again for quite a while or ever.

You have to stop learning anything in your original class forever (can never return to the class), forget how to fight and dodge (only use the new attack matrix and class saves) and if you use any of your old skills even once before reaching the same level as the original, no XP for you that session.

Have you ever tried it? Or even played the IE games with dual classing? It actually works really well and you end up - long-term - with a much more powerful character. The high stat restrictions are there for a reason, too. Just like Paladin, Ranger, Druid (and eventually Bard) had higher stat requirements. They are inherently more powerful characters and so rolling well enough to be eligible is supposed to be more rare.

Yes. I started with AD&D and a lot of it, alignments (and alignment languages ), the multiclassing, the combat mechanics, psionics, and a lot of other things, were weird, clumsy, and sucked.
We modified all of them to make a better game, but it was always clumsy. I don't miss it.

If somebody's receptive to magic, then fiction is the least of their worries. How many normal christians who weren't sexually abused pursued diabolism, because of Gandalf and Merlin?

I don't have any numbers on that, so I can only speculate, but I have heard the testimony of an ex-satanist who got into it young because he wanted to do magic, and I remember as a kid once spending some time in my room trying very hard to use The Force to move stuff around. What if, instead of giving up, I had gone looking for how to really do it, as that ex-satanist did? At the very least, it's not something I would have thought to try without the influence of fiction. I enjoy fantasy as much as the next guy, but it's undeniable that it has stripped the word magic of its proper sense of darkness and danger.

You got older and realized you can tell the difference between fiction and the real world.
People who waste their time trying to attack fiction for "evul magicz!" do significant harm to christianity. Nobody wants to be associated with a no fun allowed group.

It is more of "weak minds" get manipulated by this is why some go after it. Used to see this result from the strange kids who had no father figure, Christian background, or stability in their home who tended to be easily manipulated to the various things that were actually harmful.

While normal kids were playing AD&D for the fun of a "game" with a neat story, others were pulling out cult books and the like and trying to integrate it into their games with full on rituals. Same with video games and the like, these weak minded mal contents went far beyond the initial point of the content and took it to a weird place.

I think there is some legitimacy to why groups went after it, but also think they get stupid about things, like going after Ozzy over "Suicide Solution" because apparently they are too stupid to read the lyrics or research anything about his alcoholism issues. In that way, it is no different than the idiots who latch on to political ideals without having a clue about what it is they are advocating.

It is kind of why I only played pen and paper games with tech/engineer types because they hated the stupid "role play" and "dress up" crap and just wanted to play a number crunching game, so you never had to deal with these freaks who didn't have a control of reality.

I just beat the demo!



I tried playing it at first as managementum vulgaris: ignorant, petty, lazy, morally bankrupt and only in it for himself. Luckily, he soon got what was coming to him. My next character was more of a model centurion and I passed most of the challenges with flying colors. The last battle was exhausting though.

The game is a lot like its predecessor and if you liked that game (and its excessive combat mechanics) I think you you'll like this one as well.

No. The devs never post there, usually. And they only ask to have the occasional announcement posted.
The Discord is essentially the modding site.
There's also a forum for serious coding and complex modding and it's not pozzed at all.
But the Discord is filth.

Even the DEI Detected discord server of Kabrutus has been infiltrated. Luckily, the ****** are too cowardly to comment or engage in anything besides adding transflag and Palestine emoji reactions on the #News announcements. lol

Not really a let's play or a longplay, quite the opposite actually, but the speedruns of Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy by CovertMuffin (I know, the name is super gay) were some of the most entertaining "watch a person play video game" thing I've ever watched. He's explaining everything he does, makes jokes, and speedruns the games without breaking a sweat.
Other speedrunners come off as autists but this guy is great to watch.

Yeah I enjoyed the GDQ stuff until 90% of them became ******. I do not mind specific streams though, it's just that I won't follow the whole event and thus don't know about the good ones.

I tried Crawl Tactics a few years ago when it first released. It's a tactical roguelike rpg. I saw that it recently had a major update, changing a few systems. I was underwhelmed with the first release, but the new additions look interesting.
