Cyberpunk 2077 is woke straight from the character creator with "Body type" instead of sex/gender and "feminine penises" and both male and female voice lines available for both sexes. There is a plot-critical pair of lesbians.
"Tyranny" is really woke. There's the previously covered issue of Kyros' gender.
Then there's the fact that a lot of high ranking members of the military are women. And I'm not talking about Sirin the Woman of Obviously Profound Magical Power, but about squad and legion leaders, positions which would require strength and size and mentality of men to reach.
The cultures of the Tiers (the place most of the game happens in) have matrilineal inheritance on every piece of property (from a house to a kingdom) while the men can only rule at sea.
But the biggest and the most insulting thing they've done is the deliberate disfigurement of the English language. They use phrases like "daughters and sons" and "women and men" multiple times. And every character says it like that, despite the fact that the Kyros' empire has the more traditional patrilineal inheritance laws. So, instead of making sure only the characters from the Tiers say those phrases to underline the cultural differences between the two nations, even the imperial characters speak like that. This leads me to believe that it was done to insert political messaging into the game.
I am also going to bring up the beastmen who are ruled by more physically powerful females. While examples of animal species where sexual dimorphism with the female being bigger and/or doing the hunting exist in the real world, I cannot take them in good faith when it comes to Tyranny. Both the devs (Obsidian) and the publisher (Paradox) are pozzed up to their ears. That, and the previously pointed out instances of injecting progressive politics without the care for consistency in world-building make me think the tribes of raging feminist ***** are a deliberate statement and/or a power fantasy idea of how our society should be.
Now, regarding Jagged Alliance 3. @Harthwain (if that even is your real name), I believe
@Lord of Riva meant to say that "All the Mercs that are specialised in Mechanics are female." And "Evil characters [...] are all males." The comma after "female" confused me for a moment too.
I didn't want to go through over 550 posts to find your posts to reply to them, so I just wrote this here.
