Isn't it fascinating? Evil gods are conspiring to take over the world, an obviously evil guy is taking over the city they live in and these two are "Cocksucking tho", "female body hair tho".Silver wrote: ↑ July 9th, 2024, 15:34Also found a couple -- female halfling, male human -- openly discussing their bisexuality and preferences in public, while ogling flaming fists.

Oh but they absolutely are. The dialogue is also not something you can "skip through" since it's just overhead text that pops up when NPCs talk in BG city. Of course, you can miss it still while drowning in the slop that's Act 3, but anyway. The fact it's ALWAYS there on repeat, those absolutely ******** dialogues -- vile. Just vile.SoLong wrote: ↑ July 9th, 2024, 17:47It's almost like these are just mouthpieces for the writer's hangups...

I did not believe in coomer brain, but it is clear that some people are really hung up on being public nuisances with their woke leftoid sex fetishes (outside of the yearly real-life "pride" open-air depravity).Silver wrote: ↑ July 9th, 2024, 18:58Oh but they absolutely are. So how exactly does sweat-drenched hairy fish taco, face squirrels, dead rat smelling armpit bushes, "free estate for lice" balls, bearded legs and pubes-covered stomachs help anyone feel liberated?Silver wrote: ↑ July 9th, 2024, 18:58Oh but they absolutely are. I kid you not, I sometimes imagine how my face would look like if I let my mustache and beard grow thick to see if it would look nice on me, but that idea always disappear when my facial hair starts to turn my face into an overheated oven.
Can't imagine how brainrotted someone must be to willingly be uncomfortable all the time just to "be free of traditional social norms".
Part of the problem with the freaks and weirdos infiltrating Fantasy is they don't know how to write Fantasy. A halfling (who are apparently exceptionally hairy in Faerûn? since when?) would not feel the need to comment how "liberated" she feels by being hairy. This would be her natural state of being and part of her culture. These freaks, perverts, and weirdos have ZERO empathy. They cannot imagine themselves in someone else's shoes. Frankly, I doubt they even have the capacity for an internal monologue. All they can do is "write what they know," as they were taught in overpriced creative writing seminars.Silver wrote: ↑ July 9th, 2024, 15:34Also found a couple -- female halfling, male human -- openly discussing their bisexuality and preferences in public, while ogling flaming fists.

This results in characters that all feel like they come from Los Angeles, New York, and London. There's no difference between a human, an elf, and a dwarf. The only non-humans into whom they put any amount of effort were the githyanki.

First of all, thanks, @orinEsque and the Team for such great work! For me personally the purchase of BG3 was a huge disappointment due to its woke-**** until I found rpgHQ and all you great girls and guys. Great thank you from an nearly half century old gamer, honestly.
As for the source of this wokeness in BG3 I recall Vinke's interview where his had been asked if Larian would do next game in FW franchise, and Sven said that: "Never again we will be touching someone's else franchise due to necessity to follow demands of the owner". Sven hadn't said strictly but hinted that as far as BG3'd EA showed more and more success in development of Act I, representatives of WOTC became more and more unwelcome guests in studio because they begun interfere more and more and demand to do this and that. Sven also didn't pointed exact demands from WOTC but you can easy guess them due some interesting info about 50th anniversary book provided here:

We were playing multiplayer, there was a remark from one of the girls "Aww that's such a cute couple".

Little did they know this couple was a beneficiary of NoAlphabet
. Larian has almost 0 straight human couples.

Victors clap when others succeed; Losers feel every spotlight as a personal bleed.
Elaborate.
Why waste time basically changing the entire game and just make one exacly how you want it? Would that not be easier
You're probably right. Locking this thread for wasting everyone's time.Hateithere67 wrote: ↑ July 13th, 2024, 17:37Why waste time basically changing the entire game and just make one exacly how you want it? Would that not be easier

It has come to my attention that this mod is homophobic, racist, and transphobic. Therefore, in my power as admin, I deem everyone involved in creating it as very based.

How can it be based?
But Pathfinder for example was woke as hell. Does Larian really need SBI or its equivalent if they can tick the boxes themselves?AndreGAS wrote: ↑ July 11th, 2024, 04:56First of all, thanks, @orinEsque and the Team for such great work! Very well said - I never encountered this couple since I had uninstalled the game in rage at the beginning of act 3, but... yes, you are right.SniperChris wrote: ↑ July 10th, 2024, 00:50Part of the problem with the freaks and weirdos infiltrating Fantasy is they don't know how to write Fantasy. And this 'hairiness' has to be put in perspective, by looking at the world: it is apparently technologically at a medieval level, with most of the population living and working in the countryside, k? That means long days, hard work, and for most people hardships and quite short lives, magic and monsters uncounted for. And that spills over to city people, who have to deal with constant shortages of especially food and other resources, unfair class systems, widespread poverty and a non-existant social security net. That in turn means that people will not smell of soap (washing yourself with which water distribution system?), and hairy pits, dicks and pussies is the norm.
This is not to say there haven't been civilisations that had all of this (see: Rome et al), but I have yet to see an aqueduct in D&D or any fantasy setting.
And - if I may continue my soapbox rant - that's because most fantasy creators find all of that logistical and infrastructure stuff to be so very, very BORING; better to handwave it as 'magic' in the best case or just not adress it at all.
"If you want it done right, do it yourself" remains true especially for these fantasy games.

It's either SBI, or their based development team in Russia did the heavy lifting in Act I and II (and their branch shut down) and then the wokified other branches got a hold of it.Oldtimer wrote: ↑ July 13th, 2024, 18:02But Pathfinder for example was woke as hell. No, we DON'T think D&D is based on real life, and we want to keep it that way, leftist cultist fucktard.
