Games in which the Main Menu screen changes

Post by Cedric »

I was thinking that generally, games in which the main menu changed when you cleared the game fully always seemed to be some of my favorites. So then I was trying to remember in which games this actually happens and only managed to come up with Japanese examples

So I'm asking you for your wisdom - do you know any major, good games in which the title or main menu screen change once you beat or 100% the game?

Here are the ones I could remember:
Mario Kart 64
Pilotwings 64
NieR Automata
FUGA: Melodies of Steel

Metal Gear Solid games. I think some older Resident Evil games had this too?

Half-Life 2 and its expansions had menu screens dynamically change depending on which chapter you're currently playing.

RE4 is the only game that comes to mind. At the start of the game the main menu had a picture of Leon and Ashley running away, after you beat the campaign the original splash screen gets replaced with an animated picture of the village.

The remake does this as well.

I recall RE3 having different main title screens but I'm not gonna play it again to test it.

For 100% I don't know. But for example the newer Trails game changed menu pretty much each chapter?!
