It seems like strange and likely political activism based companies have a say in The Game Awards show this year, likely breaking it as it will not be based on merit. PRIDE.com doesn't sound like they would be voting based on merit, because "Pride" is a buzzword for the woke stuff they put in these games these days.

-Jeff's friend wants an award or someone who wants to be Jeff's friend buys some advertising
-That person promises to show up to receive the award
-That person gets the award
-Some voting takes place to give the event a veneer of legitimacy
-The award is presented at the show

Well Space Marines II still boils the heads of libtards, when I went back to discord the day after Trump won I saw one of them say "Veilguard is super terrible but at least is nowhere near as bad as SM2 or monke game" so it's alright in my book.
