I think KCD would exclude a lot of potential posters because of its high system requirements. I played it somewhat recently and still struggled to maintain 60 FPS on high settings.
Really hoping KCD2 is more optimized btw, otherwise it's going on the backburner for half a decade.
Sorry, not enough games worth playing to justify spending $800 on a GPU.
Thank you for your attention to this matter!

I feel like if you barely managed to run the game from 7 years and a console generation ago, you're not going to have much luck with the sequel

Have you played it recently? Even on hardware that released years after the game it still runs like ****.

According to the published requirements specs, you can probably get by with an used 4070 (~$500) to play on HIGH 1440p. Might end up being even less after Blackwell ships and devalues GPU prices further (which should be a bit after KCDII releases).

Do I have to wait until January or can I start today, as the result seems clear at this point (I mean if it shifts, then that is that)

What Gothic mods to ruin the game and give me an inauthentic first experience should I get?
I'm just stating the facts.

Inventory mod, it makes the inventory non-**** which is unintended.

The game was made for both hands on the keyboard, yeah. Or even more likely, controller. Do not use the mouse.

Should I bother with the Unreal Engine beta if I want to include the inventory mod?

I would rather suck **** than play a game with both hands on keyboard. Low bar but still.

While I very much agree with the sentiment, I am not willing to go as far as to start blowing dudes.
