I think KCD would exclude a lot of potential posters because of its high system requirements. I played it somewhat recently and still struggled to maintain 60 FPS on high settings.
Really hoping KCD2 is more optimized btw, otherwise it's going on the backburner for half a decade.

I feel like if you barely managed to run the game from 7 years and a console generation ago, you're not going to have much luck with the sequel

According to the published requirements specs, you can probably get by with an used 4070 (~$500) to play on HIGH 1440p. Might end up being even less after Blackwell ships and devalues GPU prices further (which should be a bit after KCDII releases).
