Some screenshots from the Mists of Pandaria remix that began last month. Tried narrowing down the pictures, but I'd thought I'd show off some of the aesthetics to people who might not have played the expansion.

Starting area on launch day May 16th.

The Jade Forest. Temple of the Jade Serpent in the distance.

Temple of the Jade Serpent, with Order of the Cloud Serpent riders flying overhead.

Order of the Cloud Serpent being taught by elder Snow-Ting.

Yu'lon the Jade Serpent, celestial of Wisdom, in her temple.

The Sha of Doubt erupts in the Jade Forest.

Using a combination of a meteor chip to attain high horizontal velocity and a parasol's slow fall effect to Mary Poppins across Pandaria. Faster than dragonriding!

Running through the Valley of the Four Winds with Chen Stormstout, his niece Li Li, and Mudmug, who likes to brew beer from muddy river water.

The VotFW is South and downhill of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, and is enriched by the runoff of the Vale's magical pools, making the VotFW the most fertile farmland in the world. Crops grow to enormous size.

Every 100 years, the Mantid (ant/mantis beastmen) begin to swarm and invade Pandaria from the Townlong Steppes. This time they invaded 10 years early so the Pandarens were unprepared, and the Mantid broke through the Great Wall. Fortunately you and the various people you've met thus far come together to repel this assault and save Stoneplow village.

As seen in the Kun-Lai mountains.

The Townlong Steppes, the land to the West of the Great Wall.

The bridge to the Temple of the Black Ox.

Niuzao inside his temple.

Niuzao the Black Ox, celestial of fortitude.

The further south in the Towlong Steppes you go, the more corrupted the land becomes, turning into the Dread Wastes.
I thought the Dread Wastes were a unique spin on Mordor. Instead of the villain ruling from a stone tower, it's instead a great tree that has been malformed by evil magics. Instead of a volcano billowing an ashen sky, there is a constant downpour of evil rain seeping into the ground

Chen Stormstout ventured into the Dread Wastes to save family, but he was too late.

The Throne of Thunder.

Mounted up on our Armoredon mounts earned from obtaining a mythic+ score of 2,000 in prior seasons while waiting for Nalak the world boss to spawn.

The Thunder Forge, where the Thunder King made thunderforged weapons.

I don't think unchecked immigration is going to be bode well for the future of Pandaria.
And then foreigners walked in and poured concentrated Sha magic into the magical pools that everyone drinks from and waters the crops, destroying the heartland of the country.

This is what the guys from Jurassic Park should have done: putting shock collars around their pet dinosaurs.

Defeating the final boss, Garrosh Hellscream, on mythic difficulty.

Ending cutscene.

Earned the "Paragon of the Mists" title from defeating mythic Garrosh.
