Unholy is a skill branch for paladink, phalanx is an amazon skill. KURAST 3000 is an early uberquest zone that has summoners who spam farmable mobs. The robot city has good loot drops.

Last time I played Diablo 2 with an adult, he skipped the quests and just fought the same boss over and over again either for fast xp or a specific item. It was legitimate culture shock for me. I had only ever played like it was any other campaign, fighting bosses once and then adventuring onwards.

Ye but its squishy, unholy paladin is a tank. I was thinking ud want a tank/damager combo.

If you don't mind making a new character when you better understand the mod, it should be fine to start by playing whichever class you feel like to learn the mod. The manual is helpful for understanding the mod's mechanics, specifically the cube recipes, ubers and challenges.

U want real fun, play as 2 tower barbs. U will murder everything. Ull breeze thru 90% of the game, until u hit the late game quests.

I actually really like Diablo II so far usually games like this filter me hard (and I ******* hated Diablo III but that's probably more because of negative associations) but I haven't been able to put it down. I should be leveled up to where the rest of you are pretty soon hopefully.

The real fun in Median, and by fun I mean hardcore minmaxing autism, starts once u hit level 90, get to set drops, max ur orbs n talismans n cube recipe ****. Remember to always upgrade tiers, remember that not every unique is better than a rare.

I'm sure I'll learn what some of that means eventually. Right now I've just been running around putting skill points into the skeletons and a little bit in the magic missile attack I have.

Also have we figured out a set time/days when we're playing yet?

Dont worry about it, u will. If ur going summon necro, rush to the teleport totem n max ur death knight once u get there. Also consider buying the amulet orbs that let u summon the liches. Its like +× to summon daystar

Yeah I get that but I want to make sure I get a version that can actually be used for Median XL. Would D2 Resurrection work? Or is that different. What's an extended demo?

It's OG Diablo 2 and Lord of Destruction. Just install the game, install the mod, and use the median xl loader.

I tried but the ru forum version I downloaded had some quirk that required a bunch of fiddling to get to function correctly and I can't find a safe install elsewhere. Ig I'll try again
