Recruiters call even straight up online casinos "gaming industry". These markets should be separated before making sweeping statements about their demographics - there are "indie" games, for lack of a better word, AAA games, gambling simulators, and mobile games. Each with a different target demographic and different expectations, all called "videogames" by mouthbreathing ******* that pretend to be journalists.

I've seen some sneaky in-game censorship in the remasters. I'll wait a few weeks to see if it can all be modded out and pirate it or just play the originals. Pretty disappointing. Used to play these with my grandfather and I was too much of a fraidy cat to beat them back then.

This is what I know of, but it's only been out for a day and I think it's unlikely that they only censored literally one thing between 3 games. At any rate, we know their commitment to preserving the original intent us a lie.

Dragon Quest 5.

First you play as your dad (you're in his party), then you meet your wife and have kids and then you play as yourself with your wife and kids in your active party, then stuff happens and you play as the kids. Later on you get your parents back into your party tho.

OH yeah, that reminds me. In RotTK13 you can play a married guy with kids.
