They ******* did, didn't they?
I just think its funny they're emphasizing color as a new gimmick. Muted tones were the look for like 20 years, and now everyone is barfing bright colors. I skipped to three spots in the video and all three were about color.Vaako wrote: β January 18th, 2024, 22:46
Certainly looks like AA budget and very similar to outer worlds. Very generic enemies. They should really release mod tools at least for such a game. Certainly nothing amazing in there.
And way too colorful, games like Morrowind felt so great because of Ashstorms and most stuff in Molag Amur was either brown or black. And then you had few more nicer areas.
Mostly stand-ins for nogs, either way.
When he said "muted tones of a wasteland of sand" it was intensely orange and the oasis actually looks more muted lol.maidenhaver wrote: β January 18th, 2024, 23:10I just think its funny they're emphasizing color as a new gimmick. Games with color don't have to look like vomit. If the artists behind this game practiced restraint, and had actual talent and vision, it could've been something more akin to Oblivion. Colorful, idyllic scenery.maidenhaver wrote: β January 18th, 2024, 23:10I just think its funny they're emphasizing color as a new gimmick. You think that ugly dwarf is capable of that? Cause I don't. Seems like a prerequisite to hire only ugly and fat at studios nowadays. I guess that's what you get when every HR dept looks like a drag fest at Arby's.KnightoftheWind wrote: β January 19th, 2024, 00:41Games with color don't have to look like vomit. My point was they overcorrected, and just copied those Marvel movies and Barbie with the bright color barf. That's the new fad.KnightoftheWind wrote: β January 19th, 2024, 00:41Games with color don't have to look like vomit. Indiana Jones game will probably be fine because game studios make sure that the 1st game in a new series is only passing or subtly woke, they intentionally make it as good as possible in order for it to sell and THEN with the sequel they go all-out and make it super woke because now it has an audience.wndrbr wrote: β January 10th, 2024, 05:11i'm a bit of a sucker for AAA slop, so if not for Wolfenstein 2 being colossally ****, I would've been hyped for this.Breathe wrote: β January 10th, 2024, 01:06Can't wait to see how they **** it up. At least it takes place in 1934, which means it's probably won't feature nazis as the generic bad guys (i.e. they'll go for more exotic antagonists, like in the Temple of Doom).

unfortunately the trailer has already shown the generic strong woman with an asymmetrical haircut. She even saves the main character from falling into a spiked pit.aweigh wrote: β January 19th, 2024, 05:38Indiana Jones game will probably be fine because game studios make sure that the 1st game in a new series is only passing or subtly woke, they intentionally make it as good as possible in order for it to sell and THEN with the sequel they go all-out and make it super woke because now it has an audience.wndrbr wrote: β January 10th, 2024, 05:11i'm a bit of a sucker for AAA slop, so if not for Wolfenstein 2 being colossally ****, I would've been hyped for this.Breathe wrote: β January 10th, 2024, 01:06

Devs are too smart to waste 300 million of dev budget into making a game they know won't sell by making it woke out the gate, they have business plans where they plan out on how to increase the wokeness later on, in later entries, where the message can actually reach a big audience instead of being stillborn.
i.e. wolfenstein 1 -> wolfenstein 2, horizon zero dawn -> forbidden west, spider-man 2018 -> spider-man 2, last of us 1 -> last of us 2 (though here they couldn't wait and went full-on with the DLC), God of war 2018 -> god of war: ragnarok.
etc.
Under saner moderation such a comparison would see you shamed into submission.Envuen wrote: β January 18th, 2024, 22:18Based on the trailer alone I'm really getting Dark Messiah M&M vibe out of this - simple and linear but with fun combat. No Game of the year material but it might be worth one playthrough.

Wouldn't call those "passing or subtly."aweigh wrote: β January 19th, 2024, 05:38horizon zero dawn -> forbidden west, spider-man 2018 -> spider-man 2
The woke problem with The Last of Us wasn't planned from the beginning (well, except by that little soy jew piece of **** Druckman), it was an issue of Druckman driving real talent out so he could start poisoning the franchises with his own garbage.aweigh wrote: β January 19th, 2024, 05:38

I don't know what the world would have been like if the Nazi leaders were smarter and allied with Britain and America instead of fighting them, but I doubt it could be worse than the despicable WEF woke jewfaggotry we have in the west now.Vergil wrote: β January 19th, 2024, 05:59Indiana Jones was always a faggy **** revenge fantasy anyway.
****, I was cautiously optimistic about it given that they didn't race- or gender swap or otherwise make him look like an utter fool.
It wasn't for lack of trying. Britain was going to make war on Germany regardless.Rand wrote: β January 19th, 2024, 12:26I don't know what the world would have been like if the Nazi leaders were smarter and allied with Britain and America
The trailer had about 5 instances of punching le heckin nazis, girlboss telling indie to keep up, and old man ford channeling fox mulder's xfile monologue monotone.1998 wrote: β January 19th, 2024, 13:27****, I was cautiously optimistic about it given that they didn't race- or gender swap or otherwise make him look like an utter fool.
Germany tried their hardest not to fight against Britain (and America in extension). Churchill was paid off and groomed by the **** to never accept a peaceful resolution. Hitler tried countless times and was rejected each and every time. Read Churchill's War by David Irving. Really great information that is suppressed to this day.Rand wrote: β January 19th, 2024, 12:26I don't know what the world would have been like if the Nazi leaders were smarter and allied with Britain and America instead of fighting them, but I doubt it could be worse than the despicable WEF woke jewfaggotry we have in the west now.Vergil wrote: β January 19th, 2024, 05:59Indiana Jones was always a faggy **** revenge fantasy anyway.
I expect that Marxism wouldn't be a thing anywhere in the world for sure, and there would be no middle-eastern issue because the chosen problem people wouldn't have been around to make trouble.
I wonder what a victorious Reich ruling continental Europe with allies in GB and America would have done to stem the vermintide out of the Middle East and biotoxic Sub-Saharan Africa.
Yes, it will commercially flop. But they probably play it off like another massive success counting every single 1min playtime Game Pass installation.Anon wrote: β January 19th, 2024, 14:28this will be just yet another Obsidian massive flop. then maybe they'll finally shut off and of course blame the community for not buying their **** anymore.
