It became most apparent in act 2 around the cursed land village but then continued onto act 3. I could name some examples just from the top of my head:
- leader of group of harpers when we first enter shadow curse land
- guard at the enterance to the city (where we first see a Steel guardian)
- Steel guardians (WHY are they females, wtf)
- bank guard demanding a pass before you can go to lower levels
- fanatics of Bane in the sewer, several groups on the way to the water temperature/pressure mechanisms
- Flaming fist outpost in general
- Steel foundry: opressors with Motivator crystals
- group of gypsies that ask Astarion to save their children
- punks sent after Wyll if he refuses to save his father
Also, now that i think of it, nearly all of these characters i just listed are very dark skinned, curious coincidence, isnt it. Someone clearly had an agenda when creating these npcs.
And even when no conversation is taking place women seem to simply dominate the scene, like for instance when enemies raid the thieves guild of the Nine-fingers lady in the sewer. If we only count fighting npcs then more than half of them are women.
It is honestly so tiring, its pretty obvious that if this game was made around the same time as Dragon Age 1 or Neverwinter Nights this would not be the case. I think that BG3 would benefit from a mod that swaps the gender of all commanding women into men.
I know that redoing the voices would be lots of work but if Sir Aylin could be done then perhaps this as well. I think such a defeminisating mod would be a good complimentary mod for NoAlphabets mod, to have a whole setup to de-woke-ify the game.
Besides giving this idea I myself could even contribute, I got lots of free time of my hand these days, I would just need some hint on how to most efficiently re-do those voicelines / teach the voice recognition module / re-pitch audio files or whatever else is needed.
