This mod is amazing but is it possible to make it compatible with "Show Approval Ratings in Dialogue Choices" (https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/2027)?

For now i can play by remove lingo part so SARDC can work but that also removes a lot of edited text :/

Thanks for making this mod!
I recall someone made a compatibility version here. you can have a go digging through the posts, or I'll do so later

Welcome new friends, when you come to say thanks, also remember to tell us how you heard of us. We especially like hearing that screeching leftists sent you here.
I saw a conversation of the Better Aesthetics mod being banned and searching for it lead me here.

And I am happy because of that. Thanks to the woke feminists complaining on Steam I was able to find this place.
Hearing these stories make modding this thing worth it :D
Thanks for a heads up, good to hear its done already... i'll search for it and will respond if i find it first :D

@2words9letters made a compatibility patch for "No Alphabets" and "Show Approval Ratings in Dialogue Choices". It might need to be updated though since both mods have updated since this patch.

thank you for the update!

i also updated my compatibility mod with approval ratings, now with pak version!
https://files.catbox.moe/8l6j1i.zip
you can choose between NoAlphabets or both NoAlphabets & NoRomPlatonic. choose 1 version!
if pak doesnt work, i also put the loca files in the normal folders. put your english.loca in drive\Baldurs Gate 3\Data\Localization\English

The insane levels of copium:

"Because it is - and has always been - full of tropes, objects, and language that are not Medieval.

Look - North Korea calls itself a democracy. Do you agree that it is? Do you think that because that description comes from the horses mouth it must be accurate?

I'm not disputing they thought of Forgotten Realms as Medieval or used that word to describe it, I'm saying they were incorrect to do so because the word doesn't actually fit the setting anymore than "democracy" describes North Korea.
"
that's awfully too much words for "idk how to justify too much ****** involvement in white race setting anymore" xD

FYI. They have updated ImprovedUI again. It appears to be conflicting - CTD right after the opening cutscene.

Great job on this modpack!

Version 3.6 - 13 Jan 2024
  • Fixed Beard Mod
  • Patch compatibility update for Lingo mod - translators should use new Loca file.
  • Patch compatibility update for CCreator and CCreator-noGen
  • Fixed voice and text for ghosts in Aylin's cage: "Look upon him"
  • Fixed lore mismatch in Ilmater book: "self-flagellation" replaced with "self-sacrifice"
  • 4 Aylin related lines fixed
  • Fixed player line related to Chorizo.
  • Fixed Astarion's voice and text line related to Sebastianne.
  • Correctly altered line about diversity and pride this time!
A few things I still need to work on, looks like new patch broke an animation. 1 more voice line I need to include. Those will come later. Thought I should push these out for patch compatibility sake.

Excessive swearing is just what millennial writers use to make characters seem mature because it's their childish idea of maturity.
This, actually have been applied to most of western video games in past 6-7+ years. And I don't know if I'm the only one who feel it this way but, taking this BG3 game as example, I don't have anything to say to its gameplay, but the writing dialogue is just...LOL; it's ridiculous to the point where I can't stand the type of NPCs who I just meet for the first time that start speaking nonsense that sound "kool" to them + arrogant, disrespect and trying to treat me like their doormats while spouting their ugly faces toward me at the same time. These NPCs are just like the incarnation of those "modern people" in the game world :sleepy:

"Cannot create a working story" appears after the last update, yesterday all works fine with previous version. Disabling "lingo" file doesn't help.

Sorry if it's wrong place to ask, but I'm currently having only this mod and a few other small ones, not sure if i did something wrong during installation of mod manager but my game crashes a couple of times as soon as i click on anything in the game. Switching Lingo and Voices parts of this mod in load order seems to fix it, but not always, takes like 4-6 launch attempts before i can play it without crashes. Would you have any advice?
My load order looks like this at the moment when i was able to play it:
0 Aesthetics
1 Voice
2 Lingo
3 NoRomVanilla
4 Lore-Friendly Heads

Right, i unpacked it directly into the game's folder. Or should it be used trough mod-manager as well?

Install it like the other mod, with mod manager. It will appear in it's "Overrides" section, you can leave it there.

Sadly it didn't, i just get to test stuff again and it stayed the same, i added the fix and had to restart the game without changing anything five times, on sixth game runs as it should.

Did you install .NET? as a part of BG3 mod manager installation? (make sure you have the prerequisites: https://github.com/LaughingLeader/BG3Mo ... r/releases
