Wouldn't be surprised if No Alphabets is more popular than what we all think

I manually replaced every nonsense ("inclusive") presets that were shoe-horned into non human races, I hope they factor in mod usage or something because I would hate to be adding to the "growing numbers of people that actually LOVE our inclusivity!" narrative that they might try to push later on.

Their data will still show you choosing white brown haired male. This is one reason I don't suggest replacing existing heads. It will give them **** data. But in all honesty, if I were doing their data analysis I would create a category called: "modded"

Btw just to point out cod pieces were coming in late 14th/early 15th century. Straight Men used to do the peacocking back then. Men into flowers, poetry, serenading etc, etc.

That being said Astarion is wearing cowboy stuff.

So do I understand correctly that Astarion's current pants are just giving off the "cowboy but make it stripper" kind of vibe.
And those clingy leather pants aren't necessarily a proper fit considering there are no cowboy strippers around. :lol:

@CheesusCrust

Is there any kind of pic comparison to what kind of pants Astarion used to have and why they are "gay" now?
Or if not, can you explain to me what's wrong with them? I mean yeah, they are tight and sexualize character, but that's about it.
Maybe I'm too groomed from media to see them "gay pants" :mrgreen:
"sexualize" is the problem. it makes the character look like a clown and steals not only immersion, but the whole atmosphere. it also shows where, when and how exactly the dev/writer/artist was working with one hand under the table.

yes, Larian, i really craved to see that prominent asscrack in the cutscene when Astarion asks help with his scars. ******* *******.
and unfortunately i don't have EA screenshots, but i really don't remember Astarion wearing pants as dumb as these

This change will not affect dragonborn, halforc, gith and small people models, there's far too many to edit one by one. cba.

i only asked for a change regarding Astarion. i would've switched his camp clothes to something else, like that same corset i use as armor, but he uses those pants in all his shirtless scenes unfortunately. and i need my immersion x_x

They are supposed to be sexy too. Astarion was a honey trap to lure in victims after all and all his starting clothes are very old because Daddy Cazador doesn't give him an allowance.

The intellect devourer is made from the brain belonging to that body. Given their biology it would also assimilate the memories of it's birth/host body.

So this corset + thigh harness outfit is somehow less gay than cowboy pants?

As Gale once said, I question the wisdom of that decision...
But! Ultimately, t's not my game to play and enjoy, so I hope that fit works for you!

For the record, I think it suits him.

But on the other hand, the Venn diagram of "I am gay!" and "I am a flamboyant spaniard!" is abfully circular looking too...

yes. his *** doesn't stand out, the shirt buttons are all way up the neck, plus there's room for gloves, cape and even scarf to hide vamp bite. this is the only working male bard outfit i could find and that works for Astarion.

unlike this one.

also poor attempt at trying to point fingers at me when you're the one saying you don't see anything bad in sexualization

This is funny, really.
As I said, it is not my game to play and I wished you to enjoy any outfit that works for your game immersion.
I was not pointing any fingers, only wanted to know what is the breaking point in the outfit that is "not gay enough" yet allows other quite "extra" looking pieces of clothing like underbust corset and thigh harness (that is not even used for dagger).
Your distress over something so miniscule is uncalled for.

@orinEsque
Sorry for the flood lol. I'll give this whole convo about Astarion and his gay pants deserved rest.

Gah sorry I will also give changing his pants a rest, these other pants are clipping through his clothes etc. /sigh
You gonna have to live with his gay pants, can't say I didn't try.

Speaking of things being 'Medieval appropriate', did people really swear that much back then?
Feels like Larian got Tumblrinas to write the dialogue in certain places...

Excessive swearing is just what millennial writers use to make characters seem mature because it's their childish idea of maturity.

Found two issues in Act 3 with this mod, Valeria the flying elephant talks with a male voice but has a female name and everyone still calls it a she. And Sebastian looks and sounds like a girl but in the choice dialog with Astarion he still calls her a him.

Hello, new player here, wanted to ask, does this mod remove same-sex romance options? Came looking for such a mod after Gale and Astarion out of nowhere were hitting on me (male character). Very unsettling.
