Any sure way to check if a game is infected with "inclusion" before buying it?
Any sure way to check if a game is infected with "inclusion" before buying it?
I know of "SweetBaby", just saying the name makes me want to vomit, but are there more ways to check for a game (even movie!) as a "before you buy" sort of thing? The good thing is that companies usually seem to flaunt it about they do this sort of "inclusion" cancer, so it makes it easier to evade, but I cannot hunt for these things as surely as other people can, and have to rely on word of mouth, visiting their site where they proudly display their insanity or simple blind luck to find info. (Cyberpunk is an example that comes to mind. Might be a "minor" thing, but I don't want any "flag propaganda" or any such nonsense, no matter how small. I am sick of it. I don't want to support these things. Baldur's Gate 3 was the last shot to the heart I could care to take.)
I am simply sticking to old games right now, but I would love to support games that are normal during these insane years if I have the means to.
Hope I am doing this topic thing alright, it has been years since I opened a topic anywhere, thank you once more for making this site!

Also, there is a mod for Skyrim Special Edition from a modder that I thought was great, but instead seems to be "peculiar" as well, which broke my heart. I think he replied to my comment but I do not care to read it, I am done with their excuses as to why they have to lecture people that don't want things in their games. Posting the file I made here for vaulting if anyone wants it! More info in the spoiler because I write bricks of text

Sadly, there is no clear way of determining just how pozzed a given game is, and publishers/developers have wised up by now to try and obfuscate the true extent of the corruption before the game launches, or as is the case with Baldur's Gate 3 (and others), putting the most woke aspects of the narrative deep enough into the game so that initial reviews and word of mouth will be positive, and by the time people stumble upon the ****** and ****, it's already too late.
I fully expect them to make it a standard practice to patch in the filth after the game has launched.
Your best bet is to assume every major AAA release is woke - all the big publishers have been completely taken over by ESG hires. AA and indie releases are hit and miss, usually the only way to tell is to look up the developer's past releases and, in the case of indie developers, their social media presence.
Pronouns or *****/***/BLM/Ukranian flags in the username and bio are usually a bad sign, developer being a ***** is a major red flag, quoting and retweeting leftist political posts are also a bad sign. If the developer hangs out with known woke filth, also a warning sign, since the dev community is incestuous and filled with weak ***** that will submit to peer pressure.

100% , I loved a Reddit post someone posted on the Baldur's Gate 3 No Alphabets where they listed every instance of real, or imagined, instances of such things so the modder could fix them out fasterrusty_shackleford wrote: β December 20th, 2023, 08:32They do the work for you.

Very well said, I did notice that looking at the comunities surrounding a game also has a way to help know the game (it's like they "sense" it, somehow, and are attracted to it). I have been evading any major release for a while, Baldur's Gate was the unexpected underdog I hoped to support that stabbed me in the back the most. As for "adding it later", I didn't even consider that, but yeah, that sounds like something they'll most certainly do. Thank you for all the info!gerey wrote: β December 20th, 2023, 08:34Sadly, there is no clear way of determining just how pozzed a given game is, and publishers/developers have wised up by now to try and obfuscate the true extent of the corruption before the game launches, or as is the case with Baldur's Gate 3 (and others), putting the most woke aspects of the narrative deep enough into the game so that initial reviews and word of mouth will be positive, and by the time people stumble upon the ****** and ****, it's already too late.

Sorry for two consecutive posts, but wanted to say thank you once more for the list, and that I have been reading through it to see if I had any of those listed games in my wishlist or something, and the amount of logic leaps I see as they try to insert that anything and anyone could be a *****-something is insane, even going as far as to say that being Intersex makes one part of the "club", it is infuriating. Very glad I can save myself from the listed titles.rusty_shackleford wrote: β December 20th, 2023, 08:32They do the work for you.

Sure, if it's not made in Asia, then it has a 95% chance of being pozzed.
Now seriously, usually following promotional material tends to be enough. If not, check Twitter bios as you've been told already, and search in steam/support forums for the usual "dOeS tHiS gAeM hAvE gAy ChArAcTeRs??" threads and see what the developer says. In fact, you can do that yourself.

Seriously this, OP. You can always give money to the dev later if it turns out to be poz-free. Segata is also right that Asian games are nearly always safe, though it's starting to creep into AAA Japanese releases with body types and such.
Yeah idk the new Dragon Quest features a flaming homo as a prominent companion but I guess faggotry is ok when the Japanese do it.WhiteShark wrote: β December 20th, 2023, 16:15Seriously this, OP. I just automatically assume that if it's a Western game after 2010 then it is pozzed.
The only good thing about these "inclusivity" people is that they just cannot keep it to themselves, so they, as mentioned above, do the work for you most of the timeSegata Sanshiro wrote: β December 20th, 2023, 13:20Sure, if it's not made in Asia, then it has a 95% chance of being pozzed.

I usually "try" games, but I'd really not want to even go through the trouble of "trying" them if they are infected. I am just so tired of putting my love and passion for the story and characters only to then have to "start over" as I wait for mods or enough knowledge to mod it out myself to make the game palatable, and even then it always feels lacking in just the right way to make me feel hollow and miserable. I miss playing with only fun in my heart and wonder on what will the next chapter, nevermind the next CORNER of the adventure, bring.WhiteShark wrote: β December 20th, 2023, 16:15Seriously this, OP. As for Japanese releases, that is very sad news. I held out from buying Elden Ring because I saw they "improved" sex and instead call it "bodytype". Once they start, it only snowballs, and I don't want to be let down again, so I'd rather not even board the ship this time instead of trying to patch holes as it sinks, holding onto hope that it will just be patched out as a "mistake"

This is the correct approach. I do that with some ebooks sometimes if I'm not sure if they're worth reading.WhiteShark wrote: β December 20th, 2023, 16:15Seriously this, OP. I am very bad at understanding humour of a certain sort, so if it wasn't for "amazing women on the team" line, I wouldn't have understood. That is very sad to see. How do you find such info? People usually type so much online on social media that I can hardly understand what they are referring to most of the time unless I can somehow find them using tags or something (or when they go into rants or, the easiest way, made up terms/flags in the bio or name, followed by PHD and whatnot).Segata Sanshiro wrote: β December 20th, 2023, 17:23This is from one of the writers:DagothGeas5 wrote: β December 20th, 2023, 17:19Baldur's Gate 3, that I recall, didn't have such nonsense on their social media pages.

They have figured an effective countermeasure to piracy - make the product so **** no one wants to pirate it.maidenhaver wrote: β December 20th, 2023, 17:30America was founded by pirates. America was saved by pirates. I come from a long line of pirates.
