Isn't it lovely how this series of mods brings people from different countries together? We have an English version, a French version, a Russian version...

So many people from different countries getting together to make the fantasy middle ages look less like modern day New York.

Edit: I made an interesting observation. While a significant number of people are screeching about the mod (because of course they are) there are a surprising number of people in support of it. Also some in support of the complete No Alphabets mod.

I did not expect a fourth camp: Some people on Nexus seemed to be annoyed with everyone's favorite ****** tiefling Nocturne. There are a few comments asking if that part can also be uploaded separately (On Nexus I doubt it because that would probably be too obvious for the power tripping jannies).

It's an interesting reaction. It seems that while ****** sideshows like the circus leader are tolerated, having it shoved into your face so blatantly in a main character quest seems a bridge too far for some people.

Yeah and here's another one from Europe! I got here thanks to a stupid comment on the Nexus about this "shameful and awful" forum. Naturally I had to look it up and I found a place with a ton of great mods! (As soon as somebody says something is shameful, I've got to see it! ) Might even consider hosting some of my stuff out here eventually. I like non-woke mirrors. Used to be the Nexus moderators would nuke anything not pertaining directly to the mod itself. Those days are long gone.

AHEM, on that front: I have added it to the list and will begin a new play through probably next weekend. Will let you know if I run into any missed conversations and such.

Complaining about the mod creator being fragile while simultaneously demanding the mod be banned for being offensive has to be the absolute nadir of self-awareness.

Закончил делать перевод и увидел, что уже сделали перевод на русский. Ну пофиг, я делал лично для себя в первую очередь, но решил поделиться. Я посмотрел перевод, который уже есть и мне сразу не понравилось, что в дневнике у трансформера в храме Шар написано "теперь я другой человек", хотя он тифлинг. Видится мне в этом гугл переводчик. Не берусь судить чужой труд, просто прикреплю свою версию перевода. Добавил небольшой прикол в дневник Ноктюрна. Ещё в некоторых диалогах из-за особенностей локализации к Песне Ночи обращаются как "она", "ей" и так далее. Например, в оригинальной фразе нет местоимений никаких, а в нашей версии решили добавить. Все те строки, которые изменил автор мода, я перевел на русский, особо много косяков быть не должно. Если даже и накосячил где, у вас есть альтернатива. В принципе, больше ничего не менял. Кстати говоря, пока переводил файл локализации, заметил, что в оригинальном файле было очень много гомосячьих писем, которые в русской локализации уже были по максимуму исправлены самими переводчиками от Larian. Где-то одного гомика заменили на женщину, где-то просто друзьями обозначили и т.д. Интересная ситуация.

I'd like to say huge thank you to orinEsque for such a wonderful mod! The amount of thoughtful work that's been put into this truly amazes me. While I find myself already in the very end of my first bg3 playthrough, I'm absolutely installing this beast for my consequent runs, including couple other mods mentioned here that improve aesthetics.

Regarding Aylin -- after binge reading this whole post -- I found it fascinating to see that there are male models and even a male portrait for what-could-have-been Sir Aydin or something like that.
Couple weeks ago I was watching a stream, there was a piece of poetry all the way back in Act 1 Goblin Camp that I missed. It stood out to me as possibly something that was not quickly enough "fixed" when Larian decided to go with female version. At first, I thought it was something that got lost while working on translations for the game (because the stream was not in english), but surprisingly the same piece can be found in english version as well.

Really glad someone decided to upload Ser Aylin onto Nexus since it brought me down a huge rabbit hole of finding this site lol.

@orinEsque I'm not sure if you're done modding the game after this, but I think there's some more changes that can help achieve the goal of making BG3 as immersive as possible. Something that might be a nitpick is that different races in the game don't have different enough voices. Like, I just started a playthrough as a Dwarf and one where I'm doing the Dark Urge as a dragonborn, but they reuse the same voice presets. I run into this with different NPCs all the time as well. They don't sound... fantastical enough? I dunno.

I've seen some mods that help a bit like Dwarf Style Voice Preset for Tav (AI), Dragonborn Style Voice Preset for Tav (AI), and Orc Style Voice Preset for Tav (AI). But those are just for Tav and no one else. Seeing how well the AI conversions came out for Ser Aylin, I wonder if this is something that could be done for the entire game. And it'd certainly be much more optical change and achieves the goal of making the game a more immersive setting and all that.
