it's $80 standard edition
$100 for deluxe which includes various in-game stores to purchase cosmetics/cars which are otherwise not available in standard edition
physical edition is just a code in a box, no disc will be provided - essentially digital only
when you pre-order digitally from rockstar you pay right away (not when it ships) and are pre-enrolled into a subscription service called "GTA +"

So you have to pay a Disney+-like subscription to play your games now? I can see this becoming the norm. $100 for a 'license', thousands of $ in microtransactions, $15.99/m to play. Don't forget the £20 battle pass that you have to re-purchase three times a year.

At least with WoW the expansions and monthly sub was kind of excusable.

Players with the Standard Edition of GTA VI will not be able to enter many stores (actual buildings in the environment).

Players will need the Ultimate Edition to be able to enter the stores.

This is not surprising at all, I was certain GTA6 would be edgeless trash, but wow seeing the examples of their most recent writing for GTA Online was... chilling. Like seeing the corpse of an old friend reanimated as a zombie. A fat and gay zombie.

P.S. What is that "my new game" you got there?

New game is embers of the uncrowned. Demo wass available for a few days but it probably won't release until late 2026 early 2027
