Should I bother trying to salvage this Pokemon Fangame?

I was taking a look at an ambitious pokemon fangame that a Youtuber named "Pokedex Fillers!" was advertising called "Pokemon Void" It seemed cool, being made in RPG maker and having a bunch of cool looking fanmade pokemon. I decided to look at it, because it was still in development, and while the character creation seems good with the boy being called a boy, and the girl being called a girl, there is this edgy third option, that while cool looking, I am thinking of removing through some RPG Maker sorcery at some point.

My question is; should I even bother trying to remove this guy from character creation? Should I try making him disappear from the character creation screen as if he didn't exist to begin with?

I appreciate the feedback, but I am talking just deleting him entirely, and making him NOT an option you can choose. We adults love our rpgs, but there are plenty of children who like them too!

If you are going to put the effort to mod it, I think something more worthwhile may be to make that third option an alternative look for the boy instead.

Ah! I think I understand what you are saying! I could try changing non-binary into a boy, and I could change every instance of the They/Them pronouns into the ones that the boy uses! IT would be weird having 2 boy options and 1 girl option, but at least it solves the problem! Besides, most of these freaks are men anyway.
