Download Albert's version. It's compatible with patch 4. Also don't download the English loca It's broken. Albert's version is fully compatible with NoAlphabets and white wyll. These won't interfere with other mods.
Since you're here, does NoAlphabets need me to download all 3 things (Voice, Lingo and Aesthetics)? Is there a specific load order?

Yep! Otherwise a man will speak out of a woman's body or be called a woman's name. I've separated it so when you find an issue I can immediately figure out what's not working :). Also No Alphabet questions in the NoAlphabets thread.

Will make a note to adjust her hair, to something more appropriate for a librarian-type
I disagree. She's one of the druids, right? They're supposed to look ****** and scruffy. Also, if you've ever seen a real-life librarian, this is the common look.

My version is available!
The whiter version

Has 243 additional resource changes. 499 in total.

Some notes:
  • It uses the same UUID and has all of the same changes as orinEsque's minimalist version. Use one or the other.
  • Remove SniperChris' files, but English.pak is not included, so you can use SniperChris' English.pak if you want.
  • Some more changes will be made to some faces and hairstyles
Thanks to SniperChris and orinEsque for the help. :salute:
[...] I want to keep Calimshites in. I'm pro-lore, not racist.
I agree with this. I may be the most racist person here, but what I want is verisimilitude and internal consistency in regards to setting and lore, not digital genocide for its own sake.

It's the reason I want blacker/darker drow and duergar, too. Not sure I'd opt for that if it means turning *everyone* white, though.

Edit:

Mainly Drow and Tieflings, they'll be seperate from this mod, so should work together.

I have been using the mod, along with a couple of other mods from here for a while now, and just wanted to chime back in to thank you for all your efforts @SniperChris @orinEsque @AlbertHeinous

There's no text to translate in the Aesthetics mod. Only changes NPC appearance.

Well, it is: here, i even translated it, but there was a lot of updates and archive version is updated, so i don't know what tool to use to update localization.

Oh i see! Right so Chris reached out to me and I've already fixed the two love letters on NoAlphabet Lingo. If you know what the other changes are i can add those too. You can only have 1 Localization mod btw. If you are also using no alphabes mod, you're not gonna want to use Chris' version.

I've got one that bears fixing.

Right after getting out of the prologue crash and get into the crashed remains of the ship (around the area where you fight some surviving Intellect Devourers) there's the corpse of a black-skinned "Noble" that you can talk to using Speak With Dead.

Now if it was just a random corpse it wouldn't bother me, but it is explicitly a noble, and I can't help but to scoff at the idea that the first two completely unrelated Baldurian nobles you can conceivably meet in the game (this one and later Wyll) are both of faux-sub-Saharan admixture.

I just checked. Yep, he's right.

I never noticed myself because I don't cast speak with dead on things I didn't kill myself but that would be the mother of all coincidences.

Seriously, if they wanted to shove blacks into the game so badly they should've staged parts of Dolor's murder mystery in a Chultan embassy.

I'll look that one up as well.
These are likely adjusted already, but have a dark second color overlay.

Will take a look in the files tomorrow.

As for your earlier comment:
I've made it clear that my intention is lore accuracy, not an 'Illuskan master race' mod. Tan skin tones are mostly left alone, and could be considered Calimshite.
That said, I don't remember seeing any NPC that has an explicitly Calimshite name or dress. I'd be okay with them. I'd even accept Chultan merchants in unusual foreign clothing, but no, they had to pretend everything is interchangeable multicultural globalist slop.

I think there'd be multi-generation calishite people living in baldur's gate who will have integrated and multi-gen Baldurians in calishite because people move about nearby cities and countries often for work, trade, adventure etc. I would expect these people to have taken Baldurian sounding names.

I've encountered some name like Shah, Taslim, etc. But those were either gender swapped out by SChris, or the owner was a dwarf.

No Icons have been changed, sadly, that's a bit more work. The skin however has been adjusted as you can see.

As for Zealot Brinn: Was a mistake, but has been corrected. Will probably update the mod in a while, after I have made some more adjustments.

In my opinion, people from Calimshan and people from Chult would appear very different.
Also, that fool Greenwood put Chult too close to the rest of the continent, and it's also ridiculously tiny and wouldn't support a large population to allow any real dissemenation as seen in the game.
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.

Yes we all know. With Chult you need completely different set of hair and heads in bg3.
With calishites, you take a bog standard baldurian head and hair, and give it a darker hair and skintone and it works fine. Although in reality there are nose differences due.

Yes, but those assets don't exist in-game or in the files. As much as orinEsque is a great modder I would assume that making custom 3D art assests for this game is a line she wouldn't want to cross.

As for the lore: Yes, considering that Chult is mostly jungle and mountains there shouldn't be enough native Chultans to flood the other Faerunian nations to this degree.

We all know why there are so many of them anyway.

Definitely not for random NPCs. Blender game is only for worthy male NPCs in my book.

Not sure if it's already known but your mod in no longer under quarantaine on the Nexus.

Might there be one sane mod on that cesspit of a platform? Angry redditard screeching incoming.
