My badge proposition, just a game logo.

I think if someone manages to put the DM from dark messiah on a badge, it would look much neater than the game logo.

When you need to defend the ship, I like that it doesn't tell you to use the ballistas constantly like in a modern game. It trusts you to figure it out.

Like hell I'm using the ballistas to defend the ship. At that point my murder spree was reaching a pinnacle that I ended up chasing the goons down the corridors, looking for where the vermin was coming from so that I can cut their necks and limbs. A lot of blood was spilled on the docks that day.

I just stood on the gangplank and kicked people as they got close until all the melee guys were down then went and killed the archers

if you have a shield the archers can't hurt you, but shields will break from melee hits eventually

I'm at the part with the zombies and i feel like I'm missing stuff idk, it just keeps going and going and going and there's no limit to the enemies that spawn. I can do maybe 15-20 minutes before I get bored

Doesn't help that it takes like 10 power attacks with either of my two strongest weapons to down a single zombo

I could be wrong, but there might be locational damage. I was decapitating their heads in one or two power attacks and I only have level 2 strength and the orc cleaver.

Completed. @Oyster Sauce Took power for myself.

Thoughts:

Didn't really feel this. Fortunately, it's pretty easy.
- Everything about combat felt janky. Sometimes I was unsure if a power strike connected, or why my kick sent a guy flying across the room one time and barely moved him another time.
- Most of the time, there's very little incentive to actually fight. You're better off just running past most combat.
- I spoke too early about the game trusting the player; once you get the **** bow, Xana regularly reminds you to use it.
- Other than the fire sword, equipment progression never felt substantial.
- I found this to be a visually unappealing game.
- Lockpicking wasn't worth the points invested.

yeah, it's clear that Source engine was made with scifi/contemporary settings in mind. At times the game just looks like a janky fantasy-themed Half Life 2 mod.

I'll probably finish this up as I'm presumably not that far away from the end but I expected a much better game than what I've played so far 2bqh

the game is way too dark, and they tried to ""fix"" it with the night vision spell but that just makes your entire screen white

There's like 50 secret areas in chapter 9, but again, there's nothing to actually GIVE players

Finished. It gets 6 watermelons out of 10. :5of5: :1of5:

I expected it to be much better than it was, maybe I'd have liked it more if I didn't go in expecting an RPG but an action-adventure game.

AFAIK as long as it can be emulated without issue it's fine
