Both are great, the devs are a duo of Swedes who are really into roleplaying and inspired by D&D, Ars Magica, etc., and real world mythologies. Dominions is particularly interesting for strategic conquerors, as Conquest of Elysium of Elysium is more tactical and has smaller scale. So, it's up to your taste and how much game mechanics are you willing to learn (Dominions has a way 'steeper' learning curve while Conquest of Elysium is almost install and play).
