Dominions is particularly interesting for strategic conquerors, as Conquest of Elysium of Elysium is more tactical and has smaller scale. So, it's up to your taste and how much game mechanics are you willing to learn (Dominions has a way 'steeper' learning curve while Conquest of Elysium is almost install and play).
You can find a good example of a multiplayer campaign of Dominions 6 following the link in my signature below.
