I beat A10 (highest available) so I consider the game pretty much "solved" right now. Will try it again whenever they add the true last boss.

Maybe you and other people in this thread should give Diceomancer a shot? It's amazing and it's on sale:

Have had that on my wishlist for a long time but I'm waiting to pick it up on a much bigger sale because reviews say it's easy and I know I won't get that much play out of it. The recent deckbuilder I really like is Dawncaster. It's a port of a mobile game so there is a minor lack of polish, but if I had to pick one and only one deckbuilder to play, it might well be Dawncaster. The amount of cards, enemies, areas, etc is elite for the genre and I think it's really well designed. It's a decently challenging game and definitely filters people from the difficulty and slow unlocks. But I enjoy it almost as much as my other top 2-3 deckbuilders and it has the most content out of any of them.

Computer "card games" don't need to waste time and screen space showing card graphics and card draw animations. This is like computer RPGs showing dice rolling animations.

Mediocre or bad games can still have parts that are good.

Counterpoint: the animations in Chrono Ark add a lot to the game and give parts of it true JRPG final boss big fight feel as opposed to just being "another roguelike deckbuilder run."

STS2 made me install Chrono Ark but after 5 minutes I realized I wasn't in the mood to learn a new game at the time, I still wanted to properly try it at some point tho. do you recommend it?

Consultants: David Von Derau, Tony Moore ("kiooeht"), Anita Sarkeesian
You see everyone currently acting like this is a new revelation? Games getting review bombed now for having Anita in the credits and apparently Steam is deleting a lot of them for being off-topic for just mentioning Anita, though I know ****** are the biggest portion still

I salute you for this post since it made me pirate it :salute:
