Excellent mod! Makes a 6/10 game 8-9/10. This game has many great elements but without mods like this the propaganda makes it too unenjoyable to play through. Appreciate all the hard work you put in to make this.
Hi all, recent joiner here. I keen to mod BG3 to make it more palatable to me. I've tried to download this mod via the link but nothing happens? 0 bytes shows on the mod list on this site? Sorry if this is a daft question, but how can I download it? Thanks for the help

So I'm back and decided to try to get through BG3 now that there are mods to fix the geh and other nuisances, and first of all: A big ******* thank you for making this game at least a little better - I do realise however that the general ****** writing is beyond the scope of modding... That said, I think I do have a couple of missed things:
In the Zhentarim smuggler cave, there is a note on the wall referring to the leader as a she.
At Baldurs Gate, Wyll referred to the first bridge commander as 'lady'. Which was fun in a depreciative way, but Wyll is not that kind of guy...

So the people referred to here, are both actual vanilla females in the game. They might have been or will be changed to men in De-Girlboss. And with that the pronouns will also be fixed accordingly in the future versions of De-Girlboss.Oldtimer wrote: ↑ January 26th, 2026, 19:03So I'm back and decided to try to get through BG3 now that there are mods to fix the geh and other nuisances, and first of all: A big ******* thank you for making this game at least a little better - I do realise however that the general ****** writing is beyond the scope of modding... It's currently still in beta, and looks like it's going to turn out pretty good. It's a tremendous help to us that all the female NPC's are pretending to be men.Oldtimer wrote: ↑ January 26th, 2026, 21:28Aha, my bad, thanks.orinEsque wrote: ↑ January 26th, 2026, 19:11So the people referred to here, are both actual vanilla females in the game. Good night, can i ask if anyone or the creator itself can make a Brazillian Portuguese translation on this mod? God bless you all.
I could run all the lines through chatgpt.. but I have no way to tell if they are correct translation...Potaroman_777 wrote: ↑ January 30th, 2026, 02:43Good night, can i ask if anyone or the creator itself can make a Brazillian Portuguese translation on this mod? God bless you all.

I'm modding on Linux (arch) and I wanted to ask if any of the mods are drag and drop. Lampray is pretty underdeveloped and I've decided to just skip it.
If I have to I'll just mod the game on windows, the copy those files over to my Linux installation. But I would like to avoid that, so hopefully someone here can tell me which mods will function fine just using the old drag and drop method, with no mod manager.
If so, a little "loose files" install instruction would be welcome.
Oh and thank you for doing this, you've saved the game for many of us. It's pretty unplayable without these mods.

Other than the beards mod, you don't need any mod manager for No Alphabets. BUT if you want Realms Restored, reordering your mods is an absolute must.bennylava wrote: ↑ February 5th, 2026, 23:54I'm modding on Linux (arch) and I wanted to ask if any of the mods are drag and drop. If you are in Linux, surely you are tech savvy enough to edit the modding.lsx file. Each mod is wrapped inside simple nested tags and you can move the parent tag of each mod so that the mods are in order that you want. I can walk you through it in detail if it feels complicated?

I am fairly savvy but modding games on linux isn't my area of expertise. If I am understanding you correctly I simply need to:
1. Dump all the mod files into my "Mods" folder found here: Home/.local/share/Larian Studios/Baldurs Gate 3/Mods
2. Edit a certain file which tells the game what order the mods need to be loaded in.
Does that sound about right? If so, the only thing I'm unfamiliar with is the name of the file in step 2, and it's location. ... And how to modify that file.

Make sure to leave Gustav, Gustavdev, gustavx, shared or shareddev where they are. They are the vanilla game and should remain on the top of the list.

Well I was able to use the No Alphabets mods by using Larian's mod manager in the game. The mods each had a check box that wasn't checked. As soon as I checked them, they seemed to start working. I couldn't check everything yet, but the angel of Selune with a woman's head on a man's body, suddenly became a male. I did notice that some of the homo dialogue choices still exist though.
So my only question is,
Does the in-game mod manager also handle the load order somehow?
I haven't installed the Realms Restored mods, since I don't know how to arrange their load order. I found the modsettings.lsx file but I don't know what exactly to change. Still trying to learn exactly how to modify the file.

In game mod manager just sets load order alphabetically. It has no sorting option. I'll give you a detailed guide later today.bennylava wrote: ↑ February 7th, 2026, 04:43Well I was able to use the No Alphabets mods by using Larian's mod manager in the game. So in that screenshot, everything line in the blue marked area is 1 mod, and the red marked area is another mod, if you wanted the blue mod to have LESS priority than the red mod, you move the blue mod ABOVE the red mod. the name attribute will tell you what the mod is called. GustavX is the vanilla game, you leave don't touch it, only reorder the mods below.
If i say give RR more priority than NA, you move all RR mods BELOW NA.
Victors clap when others succeed; Losers feel every spotlight as a personal bleed.
So first you put all of the mods you want into the Mods folder, and THEN you go arrange the order properly in the modsettings.lsx file. I understand now!orinEsque wrote: ↑ February 8th, 2026, 04:23

Is this the correct load order, found in this picture? (i didn't see the RR patch anywhere, maybe it's been integrated completely into newer versions)

After fighting with Bottles for an over an hour (same reason I never got into WINE) I have to give up on that method. I think my only option is to edit the file.Demonic Fate wrote: ↑ February 8th, 2026, 19:44BG3MM runs perfectly fine under proton/wine.bennylava wrote: ↑ February 5th, 2026, 23:54I'm modding on Linux (arch) and I wanted to ask if any of the mods are drag and drop. You just have to remember that the order is the reverse of the supplied images, like the one I posted earlier. Since the file itself gets read in reverse... or something. It's a bit odd really.

Put dignify mods above RR.
You don't need the allandra white mods. RR does it, unless you prefer that version specifically.

Thanks again for all the help. The game looks sane now, and not a freak show.
A question about De-Girlboss:
Is it the one that will make more of the Flaming Fists male, or do I need a dedicated mod for that?

@Romeo you might wanna let the people on the farms know why i changed the little kids in the magic show:
This little boy is labelled female. Has a meek little voice, says "look mama, look so pretty"
This little ****, although labelled as female on the wiki. He says:
"Cool. Seriously cool. My favourite fireworks colour is, like, dark violet, because it's the most cool."
Wiki has it wrong. Sound like a boy. But the mum behindo says: "my boy". Yeah... a boy with double buns.
So I swapped the two.
Wiki has it wrong. Because the father says "Let the kid come. He wants to teach them refugees a lesson, right?"

judging by the screenshots, these ***** are confusingly not aware of RR existence. disappointed

I'm more surprised Nexus unbanned Orin really, I doubt it's out of kindness/fairness.
