At least they have a non gay government.....which cant be said for anyone else who makes games.....
CCP is probably full of closet homos tho
Sadly most powerful organizations are....and many were in history since its a great way to blackmail ppl. Russian elite is also full of them, yet Russia isnt at risk at going woke in the near future....public support for wokeness is very low. China is still far better then what we have now or even Japan. Will it last though.....
This is why evolution endowed us with an instinctual revulsion to homosexuals, and why religions understood that **** need to have a boot kept firmly on their necks. When allowed to participate openly in society they coalesce into informal networks inside of organizations and rapidly out-compete normal people for promotion due to in-group preference. ****-orgies are the ultimate professional networking event.

They are a corrosive force for precisely the same reason as women and blacks: once their number reaches a certain threshold within an organization (game studios, militaries, governments), the organization undergoes a phase transition and realigns around their average preferences (in this case, faggy status games and sexual hedonism). This naturally steers the organization away from its original purpose. In essence, it's a problem of traits that don't scale: for each "good one" you find, there are 10,000 pederasts or insufferable theater kids.

There was no positive LGBTQBBQ stuff in Western games in 2000
First game that had some (hidden) stuff in it was KOTOR 1
2004
So you see.....in 2003 western games were on the level where Chinese games are now
20 years later you got BG3.....
Which is almost entirely a perversion
How long will it take China to reach BG3 levels of degen?
You know....my greatest fear is that the libs are correct and that "the arc of history bends towards left-liberalism" that intelligent people are just drawn to this **** and towards wokeness over time.....
Now I know that it was quiet often different in history and hence hope that this particular ideology is a product of the modern west and will decline as the US empire declines
SimCopter had some **** kissing as part of the ending celebration. You'd hear some smooching during the fireworks and if you walked around the hangar, you could find them. This was a game they sold through Scholastic.

Owlcat which has "gone native" in the West
Cope
Owlcat isnt even registered in Russia. Its a Cypriot company that happens to be composed mostly of Russians. They are expats who fled to the West. Still at least Rogue trader wasnt particularly woke by modern standards.
Russia itself ofc doesnt really make games....

There is also infinite lesbo content.....I read that if you play a female char all the women that flirt with a male char will equally flirt with her, using the same lines. There are also several "married" Lesbians as wel, who live in female only households (in Song dynasty China).....If you want to insert degeneracy at least make it historically accurate like masters sodomizing servants or women of a harem using lesbianism as a bonding method for clique building.

1. the game just keeps introducing new features nonstop endlessly every 5 minutes
2. it's also just an open world collectathon kinda game

idk if I'll play again

I approve of government mandated heterosexuality. The minute wine aunts start shipping male characters together, the US government should step in and crush their fantasies beneath the red, white, and blue bootheel of Uncle Sam.

Pros: pretty high quality for being completely free(there's paid stuff but it's cosmetics and some P2W stuff I never needed or wanted), lots of content to consoooom β€” lots of side content/abilities to unlock/puzzles/etc., The quests tend to be rather high quality surprisingly, some aren't tho ofc but you'll randomly do a side quest that has entire massive areas with its own interesting storyline etc.,(usually tying into the main overall story in some way), I want to say "lots of customization" but not really there's just a lot of ways to upgrade your character but there's not really any customization going on there and honestly gear added nothing for me beyond numbers going up occasionally β€” that is, "rpg elements"

Cons: performance is kinda poop, combat is meh and repetitive, repetitive ubisoft open world with nu-ubisoft ******** gathering and all that, no companions to join you on your adventure, the campaign is both quite short and disjointed(felt like I missed something connecting act 2 to act 3, maybe?, also should note it's "unfinished" and gets regular updates), translation can be poor especially with UI elements

tldr is I enjoyed it more than the AC games that copied witcher 3 (AC odyssey/valhalla), but it's a very similar game

also it has accurate ****** representation

I'm going out on a limb and assume that this is an awkward attempt to translate the chinese traditions of thinking of eunuchs as more loyal to their masters than normal men.

The thought was that since eunuchs can't have a family, they can devote themselves fully to their master or the emperor instead of corrupting the government to favor their family. So they originally had a reputation as being very loyal.

Historically though they got a reputation for being, well, evil. Turns out that not having a family doesn't automatically make you selfless: you can just corrupt to government to favour yourself instead of your relatives. To be fair, the actually evil eunuchs were still a minority, but the bland or basically competent ones didn't have stories written about them and, ironically, had no family to keep their legacies or works alive.

TL;DR: This is an attempt to try and blend an ancient Chinese tradition with modern sensibilities (possibly by western translators?) that doesn't seem to work well.

I might check the game out if I have time.

Also I noticed some of the side content(that is, random NPCs unrelated to any quests) was definitely using AI generated voice… because one audibly said "sigh" as part of a line that contained "*sigh*". It sounded a bit off and I wasn't sure, but that was a dead giveaway. Not really a big deal for me.

Forgot to add that there's a bunch of NPCs in the game that are just interactive AI chatbots. If you befriend them they give you gifts, you get to RP with them. Perhaps the first real usage of real-time generative AI in a major game? Seems more like a proof of concept of a real feature than anything, but interesting to note.

This actually makes me curious because I think making NPCs actually interactive is one of the areas in games where AI might be able to kickstart some impressive results.

As for the "sigh" part rusty, be aware that from what I gathered online, the game had extremely shoddy translation at the start. The developers did not initially expect significant overseas attention and viewed the game as a "stepping stone" to introduce the world to wuxia, so they skimped on the translation quality. I think this might literally just be some underpaid VA reading the instructions out loud. Paying attention to pitch changes is a better indicator for AI in voice acting, though the technology keeps improving.

Some more stuff I remembered while making food that I forgot to mention(this game a LOT of content):

There's a horse taming/mount system, and a profession system(currently only two, doctor and scholar)
professions have levels and both have their own separate card game you play where you have to build up a deck and upgrade it etc., which is an interesting way to integrate some cardgame fun into a game

There's also a full construction system and I'm pretty sure you can build near anywhere, you have to craft your own parts and stuff. I didn't use it so I don't know much about it. Works like how it does in most survivy-crafters afaik.
And there's a merchant system, again, I didn't interact with it but it's an entire subsystem

etc.,

I suspect this may have just been a bad translation btw @Mordred, I'll see if I can find the character and grab some screenshots in the native chinkanese

They're almost certainly doing AI translation for the unimportant stuff

[edit] I have no idea where the character is

In general, yes. But I also found the gameplay in Black Rock Depths (WoW beta when level 55 was the cap) that involved clearing packs and trying to make progress before being punished with respawns to be a great co-op experience.

End of act 1-related spoiler: Ruby probably isn't dead, I don't know if they meant for her to be dead but retconned it because people like the character or not. There's a couple clues you can find that imply she isn't. It's not like you see her die tho.

A bunch of quests are kinda hard to understand and I don't know if it's because of the translation because there's also a lot of various notes and environment interactables to find that also give story-related info which you have to piece together. And I don't meant from the quest itself(which would be duh), but from just exploring the world or other quests you'll find stuff that will connect stories that adds context.
The UI has a bunch of ways to track this stuff so it's hard for me to explain here.

I've waited for this game, played 30 hours or so, uninstalled and never looked back at the game until I've found the topic here. In my honest opinion: a slop, I hate the mmo elements, to say one thing. Every game that has guild system is going to bin, and so are most with character creator nowadays. Would have been much better to have only co-op instances in dungeons, everything else single player and daily commission not having any kind of mmo requirements. Also the shop and the menu UI were abomination, don't know if it changed something on that regard.
