I've finally completed the Goblin Nest demo after previously getting my colony wiped out by accident. I reign victorious. :axe:

I'm playing BG3 again and having my Durge romance Karlach...

Let me tell you, it's bad. I knew she was a cringe redditor or modern person in the worst way. But ****, the level of le quirky chungus cringe is almost unbearable. I didn't know how bad it was. I legit have moments when I'm sitting at my desk exhaling or moaning loudly from cringe or annoyance and speaking words to myself, although I almost never "visibly" or "audibly" react to things in games or other media for that matter. Not to mention how her personality clashes insanely hard with her supposed backstory (she should have been male also, but that's another topic).
How anyone could write this, and perhaps even worse, like it, is almost unimaginable to me. It's crazy how a character that's actually quite "nice" in the broader sense can make me so mad and annoyed. I'm honestly contemplating if I shouldn't go the tragic story route of the dark urge overtaking me and do something about it with my character...

And if you ask me to go into specifics of her behavior/way of speaking...

Your fault was engaging with the romance system at all in a modern game by people who love 50 shades of grey and gay romances.

It would be an interesting turn of events, no? Let it happen. Do you have Minthara? You can still get a romance in Act 3 if you do. IMO the best romances are genderswapt. I prefer female Astarion and female Gale. Karlach, as you've said, would work better as a male. I also believe Lae'Zel and Shadowheart would make better male characters. It genuinely feels like they just generswapt good ideas to 'subvert'. I've no clue about Wyll. He used to be more bearable in EA, but I always kill him as early as possible, because ******. Halsin creeps me out, IDK if he could be solved being genderswapt - I doubt it. You can pseudo-romance Mizora if you've the ****** in your party, according to the wiki.

Another Better Companions mod enjoyer i see. Spot on with bizarro world gender roles. In Wyll's case it is about shoving a black guy into what is traditionally a white male role (like the black cowboy in Fallout 4.) There is also an obsession with making paladins or adjacents black in vidya for a long time. D2, Last Epoch, Pathfinder, Pillars... it is beyond tiring. The most infuriating thing pisses me of about Wyll though is that cornrow "hairstyle" emphasizing "blackness". That **** is simply too modern. Spartacus tv show racemixed Oenomaus and i didn't mind since that guy actually look like he belongs to the setting. That vanilla ***** only belongs to Lamar's gang in GTA5.

Classical music means something specific and Elvis won't ever become "classical music". Likewise, classic rock means something very specific from a very specific age. And classic cinema the same. Only vidya tards are obsessed with treating "classic" as a moving target to artificially make the slop they like worth talking about.

Mostly agree with you here, really feels like most characters are the opposite gender they should be. I'm seriously considering "letting it happen", as I just got Minthara and she is the best romance anyway

One time I downloaded the client for Savage: The Battle for Newerth (or maybe the sequel?) from its website and entered a bunch of 0s as the serial code and it worked. Someone tell me how.

Entirely possible their code for checking it was bugged and never worked at all and they had no idea / never even implemented because they figured most people would buy it anyway, or it might have been carelessly designed using an algorithm for which all-zeroes is a valid code, and they never tested that specifically and/or didn't care because they figured most people would buy it anyway.

In the King's Bounty games, most units take a morale hit if you field them with undead, except for religious units. Priests, inquisitors, paladins and the like all have the "true believer" trait, which makes them unfazed by the presence of undead in the army. I thought that was an interesting twist on the whole thing.

If it's good enough to be the US nuclear code, it's good enough to be a perfectly cromulent serial.

The award is about graphical style not realism or fidelity, there were more deserving candidates to be even in the final vote instead of that game.

Even if i don't care about 33 it would've be more deserving for that particular award.
But it is what it is, majority of consumers voted the realistic graphic of course.

BTW all FNV fans might be interested in the L-15 mod releasing in just a few hours, it's been a long wait but it's probably gonna be worth it considering the team who made it is the same which worked in the Dry Wells mod.

:pipe-hat:

Not sure if it interests you m8s but there's that @loregamer @Wolverines

For what I've talked with some of the devs it's gonna be grounded, no crazy stuff, no weird ****, just Fallout :bounce: fun NCR lore.
