Tanya in Mortal Kombat 12 (I'm not calling it "MK1") is one of the ugliest cases of character rape I've seen in Western entertainment. What makes this even more amusing is how they lump all dark skinned characters of yesteryear into being "well they must be Negroids" today.

The last game she was in had her depicted as being very clearly Egyptian/Mediterranean inspired right down to the Cleopatra bobcut and in games before that she had Caucasian features despite having dark/deeply tanned skin. They also decided to make Tanya and Mileena total ***** despite Tanya having only sexual relations with Rain in the last game she was in and Mileena/Baraka having been a thing in the past before MK11.

I could rant about how **** MK has become and the series should've retired with pride after how well MK9 came out.

Ha, I remember when people were saying how unattractive and manly Kassandra from Odyssey was. Then Valhalla came out with Eivor, who has the gravely voice of a smoker and a jaw so square that even BJ from new Wolfenstein would feel threatened.

Older, but also more masculine. Mind you, the model in the original didn't make a whole lot of sense lorewise. She's supposed to be in her mid-to-late 30s, but her appearance suggests she's in her 20s.

There's plenty of women in their late 30s that don't look like their faces are melting off, so EA turning Nicole into Sandra Bullock on testosterone was deliberately done to make her uglier. For reference, here is the voice actress they used in Dead Space 2 and the remake.
