Vendarr's Minthara is my favorite;

This one is the better option I personally found for minthara:
I will never understand the extra effort into making every single character old, ugly or faggy on every game released since 2014.

Neither of those mods fit the look this mod has for Drows which is what I am looking for, also a pretty face doesn't match her coarse voice so would need to mod that too.
I'm looking for immersion and trying to stay consistent in how members of a race look like.

RR doesn't touch companions, just world NPCs. The rationale was, everyone has their own taste in companion appearances, and forcing our choices through RR would cause more arguments than we already get with world NPCs.
Plus there's too many mods for them out there. You choose what you like.

So are all the world NPC full-blooded Drows the same when it comes to their glowing eyes and bright white eyebrows?
Generally yea. Drow have their eyes glowing if they appear in dark environments (Underdark and act 2). Their eyebrows in RR match their hair colorVilemyr wrote: β November 27th, 2025, 15:34So are all the world NPC full-blooded Drows the same when it comes to their glowing eyes and bright white eyebrows?

Good to know, have you made changes to Viconia as well? Does she have red or blue/purple eyes like she did in older BG games?loregamer wrote: β November 27th, 2025, 17:16Generally yea. Tell me about! When working these NPC voices, we have to find a compromise between professional wrestler & cosplaying bard.orinEsque wrote: β November 27th, 2025, 14:22RR doesn't touch companions, just world NPCs. The problem with giving Minthara softer features is that her voice won't match, and is too raspy to alter with AI.Melias wrote: β November 27th, 2025, 12:55This one is the better option I personally found for minthara:I will never understand the extra effort into making every single character old, ugly or faggy on every game released since 2014.βΊ Show Spoiler

Would be nice if you made your edits to companion appearances as one more optional file, so this edits would be in line with the rest of the mod. Don't take it as a request, just thinking out loud.orinEsque wrote: β November 27th, 2025, 14:22RR doesn't touch companions, just world NPCs. Minthara is a Baenre paladin whose voice drips centuries of aristocratic venom. Turning her into a chainmail-bikini waifu which I suspect is more your speed, is a hate crime against taste. Some of us are here to roleplay, and a ruthless drow nobility, hits harder than a coomerβs desktop wallpaper.

But we already got a modified voice for Minthara in this forum:Lancaster wrote: β November 27th, 2025, 18:07The problem with giving Minthara softer features is that her voice won't match, and is too raspy to alter with AI.Melias wrote: β November 27th, 2025, 12:55This one is the better option I personally found for minthara:I will never understand the extra effort into making every single character old, ugly or faggy on every game released since 2014.βΊ Show Spoiler

Some players want every woman be sexy, some prefer an even spread from hideous to gorgeous.
I'm focused on immersion so the only reason I would make a character prettier is if their race should be more attractive on average.
Exceptional looks should require an explanation in the story (i.e mentions that they uglier or more beautiful than excepted)

I'm not sure if I'm tripping since I'm new to modding, but it seems like this mod conflicts with one of the most based mods ever made alongside this one and no alphabets:

2 mods that alters a ton of NPCs. How could they NOT conflict?anao wrote: β November 29th, 2025, 18:36I'm not sure if I'm tripping since I'm new to modding, but it seems like this mod conflicts with one of the most based mods ever made alongside this one and no alphabets:

it doesn't conflict with no alphabets... because I made no alphabets and also had a hand in this modanao wrote: β November 29th, 2025, 18:36I'm not sure if I'm tripping since I'm new to modding, but it seems like this mod conflicts with one of the most based mods ever made alongside this one and no alphabets:

I suppose so, but it'd be a pity having to choose between these two mods, particularly given how well they work together.A-Kira wrote: β November 29th, 2025, 19:412 mods that alters a ton of NPCs. It doesn't, I've ran a bunch of tests. I meant to say that NA was one of the most based mods, sorry for the confusing wording. Great job with no alphabets btw.orinEsque wrote: β November 29th, 2025, 19:50it doesn't conflict with no alphabets... because I made no alphabets and also had a hand in this modanao wrote: β November 29th, 2025, 18:36I'm not sure if I'm tripping since I'm new to modding, but it seems like this mod conflicts with one of the most based mods ever made alongside this one and no alphabets:

I've ran extensive tests and it really does seem to be the case that Chivalry (even the Lite version) and Realms Restored aren't compatible. It keeps freezing my game at the initial loading screen (at 93%). I can, however, deactivate the mod in BG3MM and then activate it with the in-game mod manager, and it seems to work. It's a hassle but at least it's playable I suppose.
Hoping for a compatibility patch of some sort.
